Going to the heart of the matter: In order for governments to not be tyranical and Godless or misleading, people and cultures need God. We need to repent and pray and love and obey our Maker through His beloved Son Jesus Christ. And soon in the Catholic church begins a response in “the Year of Faith” (event begins Thursday October 11) which will avail us a fresh opportunity for growth in personal faith:
“...The upcoming Year of Faith is a “summons to an authentic and renewed conversion to the Lord, the One Savior of the world” (Porta Fidei 6). In other words, the Year of Faith is an opportunity for Catholics to experience a conversion – to turn back to Jesus and enter into a deeper relationship with him...”
