And as usual, the bots declare it all to be media fabrication.

I don’t trust him either, but it’s smart politics one month before the election.

And I didn’t bait anyone. Did anyone twist Romney’s arm to make him say what he did? Why then do people not answer when Romney pulls these stunts?

Applications began August 15th. One month later, 72,000 had signed up....only a few have been approved...

If Obama’s Administration gives deferred action to a illegal immigrant, if legal or illegal, what is Romney supposed to do? Get in office, find those that are here, as far as they know, legally, and kick them out? I don't think so.

He can shut down the program by Exec Order for people not yet selected pending a comprehensive immigration program; but he's not going to deport those who were given a free pass by Obama.

Let's all hope this is an issue on January 21st!

He didn’t agree...he said he wouldn’t null and void the visas which were already issued...which is but a handful.

The left-wing press indeed likes these stories, but did anyone twist Romney’s arm to make him say what he did, and all the other countless times he has pulled stunts like this and flip-flopped-flip-flopped-flip-flopped-flip-flopped, and tossed conservatives under the bus for the umpteenth time?

And I wouldn’t doubt that Romney likes the left-wing press, too, especially at times like this.

And I didn’t bait anyone.

I didn't mean to imply that your were baiting anyone, I meant Romney was being baited by the question asked.

What do you think we would be hearing about from now to Nov. 6 if he would have stated otherwise?

I'm no fan of Romney and am hoping he was just sidestepping what would easily become another media attack/diversion.

Yes, it’s painful—we’ve got to work as hard as we can at this point to get, essentially, Olympia Snowe elected as our next president.

See, when a lot of us sat home because McCain was “not conservative enough”, they aided and abetted Obama. Now, they bitch when Obama does what we all warned and circumvented the Constitution.

ELECTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES.

Now Romney is being asked of he would revoke legal documents issued by the executive branch which would likely take more than two years to revoke, if anyone has had to deal with the INS/ICE/DHS knows, you can delay any action as long as you want.
It’s pointless to send in armed teams to arrest these people that did something considered “legal” (at the time) when you can just allow the visas to expire. When at that time they will undoubtedly get the legal process started again and wait until the next democrat returns to office or the blizzard of paperwork finally catches up.

more media attempts to suppress the vote.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Romney voted for Obama.

Somebody stick a sock in his mouth until after the election.

Well, for 2 years, anyway. Sounds like nonsense double-talk to pander to Hispanics and moderates, while actually promising nothing at all. He did NOT answer a question as to whether he would ever consider new requests should be become president. My sources in the campaign tell me this is all B.S.

How can I be upset when we know he isn’t exactly a raging conservative?

It’s not really shocking he would replace this plan with something else, and keep in mind now he’s running.

If he said anything about getting rid of it or deporting etc., do you think that would help him....not really. It would be in the media for weeks about what a racist he is etc.

Also, it appears he is simply saying only those who got a VISA would be allowed to stay under that provision.

I have no problem with that.

Gov Jerry Brown of Calif sign a bill yesterday that allows these ‘illegals’ to apply for California driver’s licenses.

The Motor Voter Law in Calif REQUIRES DMV staff to give an applicant VOTER REGISTRATION application material at the same time they apply for a driver’s license.

There is enough time for many illegals under this plan to apply to vote in Calif—and they are NOT citizens!!!!!

You could show me video of Romney in bed with 3 whores and eating live puppies and I would still vote against Obama, a white hating - country wrecking - constitution destroying - lying socialist - homosexual loving - corrupt organized crime boss - anti-American - incompetent epic failure - arrogant Black muslim bastard son of a communist whore.

This election continues to be about the very survival of America and the future of my grandchildren.

Obama and his filthy tribe MUST be removed from the Peoples White House, PERIOD. The theft of our country MUST BE STOPPED.

“respect and honor “? He’s a certified draft dodger but I’ll vote for him anyway. But I’ll put a fresh ribbon in the printer to keep reminding him he’s got four years to snap shiz. And he’d best not waste my vote.-——————————Semper Fi

Did you even read the story? If so, did you pass your 3rd grade reading comprehension lessons?

This was an interview with the Denver Post. Romney is in Denver for the debate. Romney did not just hold some news conference to make a statement on this topic out of the blue.
