Today Mitt Romney announced the endorsements of 42 Medal of Honor recipients including Thomas Norris who was one of three Navy SEALs to receive the Medal of Honor for their actions during the Vietnam War and Leo Thorsness, who spent six years in captivity in North Vietnam as a prisoner of war.
In a statement released by the campaign, Thorsness said he believed Romney was the right man to lead the nation because he understands the needs of Americas soldiers and that healthcare will be easy to obtain under his leadership for those fighting for our country overseas.
In the announcement, Romney thanked all the veterans for their support but also their service to the nation.
Of all the heroes that have served in our armed forces, only a few have had the great privilege of receiving the Medal of Honor, Romney said. They are the best of us all, and their dedication to our freedoms and their fellow servicemen and women serves as a shining example to every American.

The 2003 Cedar Rapids Kennedy High School graduate was presented the Medal of Honor by President Barack Obama at a White House ceremony on Nov. 16, 2010.
Citing official accounts of the battle, Obama said Giunta repeatedly risked his life to save the other men in his unit when they were attacked by a numerically superior Taliban force in Afghanistan.
The initial salvos killed Mendoza, the squads medic, and riddled its point man, Brennan, with at least six gunshot wounds.
Giunta coordinated the squads defense and repeatedly charged through enemy rounds, first to assist the squad leader and then to rescue Brennan, killing and wounding the two Taliban fighters who were dragging away his close personal friend.
Brennan later died of his wounds while being transported from the battlefield.
Among the other Medal winners to back Romney was George Bud Day, formerly of Sioux City.""

There are only 81 living MOH recipients so Romney has got a little more than half of them. Pretty remarkable.
You can get no better endorsement than that.
Alternative Universe Headline............OBAMA ENDORSED BY 42 NAACP IMAGE AWARD WINNERS.....LAMESTREAM MEDIA TRUMPETS ENDORSEMENT AS PROOF OF LEADERSHIP SKILLS
Romney was in Northern VA today warning that sequestration will result in the loss of 130k military jobs, and why wasn’t Obama doing what was needed to save the miltary. It was VERY effective...he should stick to it.
This is nothing. I’m sure obammy has the endorsement of several hundred dead Medal of Honor recipients.
I wonder if I send the WHITE HUT my METRO PCS bill, if he will pay it!!! :)
The problem with Romney is that he always (eventually) SAYS the right thing...
