I’ve never quite understood this...what does it mean??
“Revenge is a dish best SERVED cold” - not “tasted”, lol. It simply means that revenge enacted by a cool head can be more cruel and ruthless than the wild accusations of an angry person. Also, to do it so many years later makes it “cold” indeed. Good for Monica.
Take time to plan your revenge......do it carefully, patiently....the hot dish of revenge will cool, yet, like meatloaf, often tastes better the next day
