The Romney campaign has to push back on these kind of things and stop letting the left-wing press set the narratives. Though, it is interesting that it appears incompetent RINOs are still #1 in charge in the campaign.

The messaging from the Romney camp is confusing - let’s face it. They’re “adapting” to the fact that the press is propagandizing for Barry, instead of FIGHTING it.

I agree. I’m not entirely sure why all these “anonymous” conservatives are running straight to Politico and TheHill to complain all the time. They feed the narrative.
That being said, I think the Stuart Stevens/McCainites on the Romney camp aren’t helping him. What kind of Republican would go to Politico and say “Hey look, here’s what we did!” unless they had a bone to pick.

Because they’ve operated under the assumption that they don’t want to “offend” sensitive voters in Ohio suburbs. Not entirely sure what they think they can lose at this point by presenting a stark contrast.
