You know... Bush could have done a lot of what you have described in the first couple of weeks after 9-11 and had most of the world on his side. We missed a real opportunity, and instead entered into this stupid war with no chance of winning.... and only getting our guys and gals shot up.

has to be a constitutional republic. democracy is an overused word by the left.
some of these idiots can only be controlled by a dictator. when they get out of line, you send some bombers over there like Reagan did to kadaffi, blow the hell out of them and dare them to do it again.
no sense sending troops over there to try to educate ignorant people to accept freedom. hell, we have a hard enough time trying to do that in the US.
i would have never sent a troop to die, in place of a bomb.
