Ever since Rupert Murdoch started his Twitter account, he has been sounding off on everything from gun control to Scientology. Now hes offering some words of advice for Mitt Romney, tweeting earlier today that the Republican nominee needs to get more specific and to stop fearing [the] far right abandoning him if he makes a play for the middle because they have nowhere else to go.
Murdoch acknowledged that the Democrats scored a big net win with their convention, highlighting Bill Clintons brilliant speech. He went on to say that between now and the November election, Romney has to offer the electorate a clear choice between his vision for America and Obamas.
He followed up by saying that Romney should not be afraid to broaden his appeal to sympathetic families and open the big tent, because conservatives will not stage a mass exodus from the Romney support team and simply allow Obama to win.

On the contrary; the very fact that Romney is the GOP nominee proves that Murdoch is right.
