The former Alameda County supervisor reportedly checked herself into a drug rehab after being released from jail.
Former Alameda County Supervisor Nadia Lockyer faces new drug and child-endangerment charges after she was arrested last week in Southern California.
Nadia Lockyer is the estranged wife of state Treasurer Bill Lockyer.
She made headlines in February after an violent incident at a Newark hotel involving a man she was having an affair with. She admitted at the time that she had a drug addition.
Two months later in April, she resigned her supervisorial seat.
According to court records, the arrest in Orange County happened on Aug. 28. Police said they found her in possession of meth-amphetamines and drug paraphernalia. Officers also said she showed signs of being under the influence. She had her 9-year-old son with her at the time, according to Orange County investigators.

Her lawyer Allan Stokke said she recognizes her error and intends to take all appropriate actions to regain her health.
Nadia Lockyer was charged with four criminal counts:
felony methamphetamine possession
being under the influence of a controlled substance
possession of drug paraphernalia
child abuse and endangerment
She entered "not guilty" pleas to all the counts on Aug. 30 and was released on her own recognizance to National Therapeutic Services, an Orange County drug rehab center, according to the Mercury News.

Since they don’t mention any party affiliation I’m assuming her and ex-hubby are both Democrats.
She “recognized her error” but pleaded not guilty to all counts...the Democrat’s definition of personal responsibility.

With prior photos of her, you can see that she’s progressed pretty far down the meth slope.
That’s true, and the older shots have the same “crazy chick” eyes going on... but I’m looking at the lines in her face, the evidence fo weight loss, the evidence of lack of sleep, etc.
She’s aged a decade in a year, basically.
She was pretty cute and meth does take a toll.

So she not only has a drug problem, she has a drug math problem? At least it wasn’t a drug multiplication.

But it was a division from the Orange County Sheriffs Office that took her into custody.
Very sad story. I would say that midlife crisis has something to do with it -some women just go bonkers around mid 30’s to early 40’s
She threw away a cush job and pay for meth. But since she’s a woman, she can destroy Bill Lockyer with the stroke of a Judge’s pen and take more than half of everything he’s worth.
She does meth and was banging another man on the side. Way to pick ‘em Bill.
I wonder if she’s qualified to star on “Celebrity Rehab”? Her name’s pretty well known now.....
