It needn’t do so in order to prove its point. This shoestring screed by a relatively obscure intellectual is beating the pants off of Hollywood’s best efforts when viewed on a per-theatre basis.

They gave the Academy Award to the Waco documentary when Clinton was Pres. If they believe it was well enough done I don't think it's impossible that it would receive the AW.
