The editorial is correct, but doesn’t tell us the worse news.
A joint US/Israel military exercise planned for October 2012 is now scaled back. The scale back means none of our tankers for air refueling will be anywhere near the mid-east, no Aegis cruisers with anti-missile defense will be near Israel and some US Patriot batteries will go, but with no crews for radar or firing. This means if Israel attacks on its own, no US help is available, not even defense for Iranian strike backs on Israeli cities.
Obama wants Israel off the map.
Plus the US radar located in Israel can see a plane or missile go up over Iran, but the news stays in US hands, Israel gets no real time warning, any release goes through Washington. This delay means incoming will hit Israel before US launch warnings.
