I am against killing babies, and consider the fact that we allow those who make their business that killing to run loose a sign that we have entirely too many uncivilized people around in this country.

That is all fine and good, but that is not reflective of your post. Sorry. It is not.

Does Clint Eastwood run loose killing babies? Does everyone have to be defined primarily by this issue? Does Clint do anything to promote abortion or is he just not involved in that issue at all? Isn't a lot of the incivility totally unrelated to this issue and more related to class envy or hatred of America per se?

I guess what I'm saying is I do not yet buy that you do understand the moral implication of issues of economics, property, liberty and freedom. If you did, your first reaction to a Clint speech would not be to question his stand on abortion - something I've never heard him mention ever.

I just wanted him to raise his head and look to his right and say ‘It’s time ... Right turn, Clyde.’

personally, I think it was brilliant. I think i’m going to print out about 1000 pictures of Eastwood talking to an empty chair and go tape them about town.

Huh? If you are a member of the bar, you are a lawyer. Doesn’t matter if you practice or not...

No, you are wrong in both the technical sense and way way off in the practical sense. In the technical sense, passing the bar allows you to become a lawyer but does not mean you must do so. And the comment from Clint about lawyers was clearly meant to mean folks who litigate instead of being involved in real life and real business. I am sorry that went by you .

‘Clint should of looked at the empty chair and said “Right turn Clyde!”’

Now that would have been hilarious.

Obama has thoroughly enjoyed bashing G. W. Bush at every turn for four years. Nice to see him on the receiving end of the barbs for a change. Big time karma.

“A must see!”

Yes, and later he said, “I can’t do that to myself either”

Loved his talk, and loved his interviewing Obummer in the empty seate.

My husband and I enjoyed Clint’s speech. We wondered why he was stumbling a bit through it, but now finding out the teleprompter quit working explains it.

Who cares what MSNBC thinks, they are “Left of Lennin”(to quote Eastwood) also.

Al Sharpton now claiming Eastwood’s speech was racist. It’s unfortunate, but look for the media to focus 99% of their attention on Eastwood tomorrow at the expense of Romney.

HOW CAN THE DEMS TOP THIS?

He will tell the story about when his limo stopped and he spotted a half smoked cigar in the gutter. He leaped from the vehicle, sniped the cigar and presented it to an out of work bum who was sitting on the sidewalk.

What a caring man. Eat your heart out Romney.

Romney has a JD from Harvard and an MBA from Same. He has never been a lawyer and never took the bar exam as he took a position with a consulting firm, Bain Consulting after he graduated.

He is not now, nor ever has been a lawyer, Not that there is anything wrong with that!

to which, I would keep replaying Mr. Eastwoods speech. I’m sure the Dem’s will try to stroll out George Clooney or something...
