It’s a good day.
You want to stand in front a bulldozer? Fine...you do that. But I will be damned if I shed ONE tear when you get turned into hamburger.
Actions have consequences, and your actions caused this consequence.Welcome to that thing in life called 'Free will'.
I say this as a father, and I just do not have any sympathy for any of the actions that have happened in this case.
Call me heartless I guess..
Just finished watching Eichmann on Youtube. Corrie would’ve felt a kindred spirit with him.
But the look of rage and hatred in her eyes as she celebrated burning a makeshift US flag with a group of small Arab children in that series of photographs - well, that showed that she knew exactly what she was doing.
She was a conscious supporter of terrorism, becoming more active and vocal after 9/11 than she had been before.
So I feel zero sympathy for her, or for the parents who raised her in that ideology.
Interestingly the media seems to have Anglicized her last name as Corrie.
I am virtually certain that it was originally spelled Khoury.
We have a number of Middle-Eastern families around here by that last name.
Dead Rachel
Dead Rachel
Dead Rachel ain't much fun
She don't come when you call
She don't chase Jews at all
Dead Rachel ain't much fun
My Rachel died late last fall
She's still rotting in the hall
Dead Rachel ain't much fun, no no no
Mom says Rachel's days are through
She's going to throw him in the stew
Dead Rachel ain't much fun
Dead Rachel (Dead dead dead) dead Rachel
Dead Rachel ain't much fun
(Come on everybody out there, sing along ok?)
(Dead dead dead) dead Rachel
(Dead dead dead) dead Rachel
(Dead dead dead) dead Rachel ain't much fun
(One more time for rolling resca)
Dead Rachel
Dead Rachel
Great read! Thanks for posting.
IF Corrie's parents had just sued the IDF, I suppose a case could be made that they were "looking for justice for their dead daughter", or somesuch. I'd still not be sympathetic, but I'd at least understand.
However, they ALSO sued Caterpillar, because the company's pockets are deeper and they don't want negative PR.
So, IMHO, the Corries are ultimately just another Dim sponge, looking to get something for nothing. To Hell with them.
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
I think the verdict is a just one. I still think it is sad that a young woman lost her life, even if she was a deluded girl fighting for the wrong cause and it was her own fault.
