The comments made by Akin, with the left in the process of ramping up a campaign depicting the GOP's "War on Women" could not have been more ill-timed. They were so ignorant I imagine even Republicans in Missouri are questioning whether to vote for him. Losing the Mo. seat will probably prevent any chance of repealing Obamacare.

Conditioning...PC Rules - and unfortunately I don’t foresee anyone willing or able to stand up to or mount a counter attack to the PC Paradigm that if not countered effectively will see this country destroyed very soon.
I don’t get why people don’t ask the question - what is the end goal of Political Correctness? Where will PC take us in 2, 5, 10 years? Is there room for debate within PC? how is this compatible with our history and laws and if it’s not then simply refuse to abide by it and remind people at every chance that as Americans Political Correctness is not a valid concept and expose it and it’s sordid history.

I get it; Akin is political liability in a time where the GOP and the “conservative” cause can’t afford it. Let’s give each other a pat on the back as we stand in solidarity and conviction calling out in one voice that it’s time for him to resign and simply go away. It might just save the country you know.
I don’t believe he said raped women don’t or cannot get pregnant. He inferred that the human body has natural defense mechanisms to inhibit pregnancy from occurring in a traumatic situation. Obviously not foolproof but giving the victim a greater chance for things not to occur as they might in a consensual encounter. Who’s to really know? Miscarriage mostly happens as a result of something not forming correctly and the body realizes this and rejects the pregnancy. But, for a healthy baby I don’t think there is a valid excuse for abortion. Ectopic pregnancy I wouldn’t call abortion as the child never has a chance.
