I can’t even believe there are some so hell bent on principles that they’re willing to lose their country just to be right. Do you realize after 2012 if Romney doesn’t win your pipe dream of the perfect candidate won’t have a chance to be noticed now or 2016????

If? If Romney doesn't win???

I'm hoping that when Romney doesn't win, conservatives will unite behind a suitable candidate in 2016.

And, it isn't impossible that the GOP could nominate an appropriate candidate this year. If it is made clear enough to Romney that his candidacy is doomed, maybe he'll do the right thing and withdraw or agree to run for vice-president, as in Ryan-Romney, for example.
