Watch what happens to a priest praying the rosary at Chik-fil-A
You are confused about where the priest stands on this? Really??
A Catholic priest who goes into the lion’s den with a rosary & loudly recites the prayers of the rosary above the demonic chants of a homo-rights group, inciting them & putting himself a personal risk? Really?? You’re confused on that one??
Wow. Ok.
well now. I guess all those homosexual child molesters just materialized out of thin air.
The Catholics won’t hate you but you could end up hating yourself for not watching the entire video, including the interview at the end, where the priest opines on the intolerance of the homosexuals.
Well I must say that this whole thing really gave me the creeps. I could just feel the demonic presence that was there. I cannot even imagine.
I’m simply a Christian who’s calling you either grossly ignorant or lazy because you obviously either didn’t watch the entire video or didn’t bother to form a sane conclusion when he states that he was praying the rosary and couldn’t believe the lack of intolerance by the protestors.
(you’ll fit right in in Mass.)
Shame on you. (And, no, I am not Catholic)
LOL...I know what you mean.
I thought the same. One sees a good deal of hate, vitriol, and just vile and vicious speech on youtube. Anyone who doesn’t think we are in the last times must be out to lunch.
And you know this how?
Hey, thanks for the ping! That sure took a lot of courage. Bravo father! My dh and I recite the rosary (while walking to Mass everyday), however, there aren’t throngs of sinners following us harping. I’m afraid I don’t have the nervous system for that!
More anti-Catholic bigotry from someone sadly misinformed and profoundly ignorant of HMC.
due diligence....geeesh!
I think the key phrase in your post is I was raised..., as in past tense.
= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
Well, I am sure I do not have to point out to you that due diligence ALSO means ‘an act with a certain standard of care”.
As to my association with Christ, yes I was raised RC but no longer practice which does not interfere with my positive personal feelings in regards to Christ.
It would only take a few minutes out of your day tomorrow to contact your alleged ‘priest’ friend and tell him your joke. Please post his response along with his name. He jokes with you about the church. Why should he be afraid to publicly air his views? Your non-response will speak volumes about both his and your character. (although I’d bet the farm that ‘he’ doesn’t exist or else you simply don’t have the guts to tell him your hilarious joke.)
Like the Book of Deuteronomy states, “Choose who you will serve”.... its either Heaven or Hell and we all get to choose which one. I’m falling at the feet of Jesus on my face saying “thank you Lord for your eternal salvation”.
Hell is sooooooo overrated-—Texas summers are close enough for me.
What would Christ think of this priests lack of ‘due diligence’?
JFK was dead before I was born, but I'll venture to say that, in those days no one, Catholic or otherwise, had a CLUE what he was all about nor did they have the resources to find out, unlike what people have today in regards to Hussein.
I'm just so damn sick of seeing Christians on this forum more interested in taking digs and potshots at one another, than in finding common cause against our Real Enemies. I'm not talking about the Religion forums -- at least there, it's intended for heated discussion and debate -- but something like this, to see an otherwise "respectable" FReeper make an unwarranted crass comment, it just galls me. It's so stupid and pointless.
My brother-in-law has been a priest (awesome orthodox saintly variety) for about twenty years now (man, how time flies)... and one of the first things he commented on (to my husband) when he was in seminary was how many homosexuals were studying to be priests; my husband repeated to me how surprised and concerned “Uncle Billy” was in that regard. *sighs* Come Lord Jesus... quickly, please!
I have to believe that one day, as a Catholic, I will be persecuted in some manner in this society. They will come for Catholics first and foremost.

Do you not find it personally unsettling that you are the only one making references to priestly scandal on a thread that is otherwise unanimously lauding this priest's bravery?
I dare say you must possess the same intestinal fortitude as Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
