Infrastructure projects are what we elect these people for in the first place. Infrastructure projects are for the “general welfare” of the people. Instead, they tax us to death, spend the money on vote buying schemes and when our infrastructure degrades and fails, they demand more money for “infrastructure projects”

As I prepare my Federal Highway Use Tax (Form 2290), I do believe that if funds such as these were simply earmarked for highway infrastructure, it would be complete self sufficient. (Fuel taxes, FET of 12% on parts, tires and on equipment).
