I'm not so sure about that. I remember having an argument with my dear old (long departed) Dad in the 80s because I said Jim Henson was probably gay. Dad was incensed, because he played golf with Jim Henson's dad (as if this means anything; but that is how that generation thought). I pointed out that I was not letting my offspring watch too much Sesame Street because all the lead characters were males, and the only female lead was Miss Piggy. The name alone is an insult; but the character was like a drag queen.
I know that Jim Henson was married and had children; but what could possibly have been his reason for such a line-up on the show, including that Bert and Ernie lived together? It just didn't smell right to me. RIP, Jim; but I don't expect he is rolling in his grave over this one.

Are Chicago values represented by the anti-Semitic firebrand Louis Farrakhan with whom Emanuel is going to partner in hopes of reducing the number of homicides in his city? Are Farrakhan’s anti-Semitic and anti-gay sentiments somehow more palatable, more of value, than Dan Cathy’s support of marriage and family?

Dan Cathy admits his own guilt (”Guilty as charged.”) Mayor Rahm Emanuel has made this a top priority. We must stamp out this intolerance! Smash it in the face in the name of tolerance. This is the most important issue. “Chick-fil-A’s values are not Chicago values.” Question: how many people will die this weekend in Chicago? How many people will be murdered in Chick-fil-A?
Since recently switching to Chick-fil-a all the time, I used to hit Popeyes weekly.

Maybe Mayor Menino would like to force business owners in the city to testify before an official panel of grand inquisitors and then deny operating licenses to anyone who believes traditional marriage should be the norm?I think this article is being very unfair to Mayor Menino.
His panel of grand inquisitors don't have to limit their questions to support for LGBT demands.
Prospective licensees can be questioned on:
1. Their belief in AGW.
2. Their belief in Elizabeth Warren's Cherokee Cheekbones.
3. Their belief that Barack Obama is the smartest president who ever lived (a belief that can be enforced even if The One loses his election).
4. Their belief in _____ (fill in the blank with the issue-of-the-day).
Reminds me of how liberals demonized SUVs a few years ago: owning an SUV was supposed to be a sign of selfishness and disregard for the environment. Funny, you didn’t hear them say much about pickup trucks or powerboats, which are just as worthy targets. The difference was that the SUV owners were people you could reach — the Prius drivers and Escalade owners lived in the same neighborhoods, whereas if your suburban, middle-class do-gooders went after pickup truck owners or sport fisherman, the response would have been somewhere on a spectum that includes contemptuous disdain and righteous outrage.
Similarly, Mr. Cathy is an easy target because, as a Christian and a businessman, he is not interested in baiting or defying his critics, even though he seems admirably willing to speak up in favor of his beliefs. Self-righteous homosexual supporters feel completely comfortable raising a fuss in front of a Chik-fil-A in the mall. Going to the ‘hood to protest in front of a Popeye’s or a Black Muslim mosque? Not so much. Liberals’ willingness to spout off about their moral superiority is limited by their cowardice and laziness.
Voted for Cruz this morning and then went to Chick Fili for breakfast! Lots of cars lined up in the drive thru lol!
