Barry desperately seeks to retain the presidency as he feels his job isn't complete. He hasn't been completely successful in killing the country. His assorted retinue of homosexuals, communists and zombies stand ready to help him in any way they can.

THE MISTAKE OF OUR LIFETIME…maybe in the history of this nation!

No doubt about it and there is also no doubt that we will be paying for it for a really long time!

A second Constitutional Congress in this day in age would be a disaster. We all know that; there are just too many americans with insufficient virtue today, as the founders knew to be a vital ingredient, to accomplish it. The MAIN reason that James Madison was opposed to the Bill of Rights was because the way it was proposed, it would lead to the re-write and thus unraveling of the careful balance that resulted in the Constitution. Indeed, at the time, it was not clear that a Bill of Rights would be appended as we have it today, but interwoven into the text. So, what do we have today? The left has no problem changing the law via the judiciary or by executive fiat or by the bureaucracy. They are basically attempting to have the results of a “Constitutional Convention” without the formality of one, and one without any opposition.... to them.

Despite the truth of that, how many self-righteous FReepers boast how THEY won't be voting for Romney?
Feckin' morons.

“The American media and press should be ashamed of themselves for failing to vet this man...”

They did vet him, but when they found his radical past, they covered it up.

Custer made the mistake of a lifetime when he divided his forces before heading to Little Bighorn, under the assumption that he was facing only 800 Indians under Sitting Bull.

Captain Edward Smith or the Titanic made the mistake of a lifetime when he ordered full speed on 14 April, 1912, despite reports of ice ahead.

Julius Caesar made the mistake of a lifetime when he allowed more than sixty “former” enemies to surround him on the Ides of March in 44 BC.

None of those mistakes are in any way comparable to the stupidity of working to help Barack Obama become president of our country, nor did any of them prove as destructive as the terrible error of 2008 has been and will continue to be.

Everything in this article is true, but we can demand that the MSM be fair and unbiased until we’re blue in the face, but it won’t make a difference. They have come out of that closet, and proudly nailed their flag to the mast for the left.

In a 50-50 situation, which IMHO, is what this election looks like, purple prose,IMHO, no matter how factually based, just ain't gonna cut it with those hovering about the middle of the road waiting for a sign.

In fact, recitation of the dolorous facts isn't enough. We need to see firmly articulated:

A Program, A Plan to Implement it
and leaders charismativc and balsy enough to sell it.

So far, IMHO, no gots.

IOW, no one has to tell me, a far right Conservative who probably would have been a Tory during the Revolution, how frickin' bad Obama is. I am ready to believe he is the AntiChrist and will enthusiastically join the other 34 people in this country who agree with me to vote against him, even if for Romney, who strikes me as weak tea, indeed. OK? But WTF is next?

The Federal Government is "merely" about 15% too large. Is Romney going to terminate useless Cabinet Departments like Energy, Education, EPA? We need AUSTERITY. Government austerity. To accomplish it, the budget needs to be slashed, taxes lowered, regulation books burned. IMHO, Federal efficiency ... never anything to write home about ... peaked, such as it was, in the 1950's.

Who is going to downsize it back to its proper proportion vis-a-vis GNP, and exactly how? Romney? The Republicans give me the impression, despite their lame "Conservative" imitation, they want to keep their lucrative deals going and that they can beat Obama because of economic misery. I ain't so sure that's enough. And this is America's last chance before sliding into an increasingly socialist abyss as demanded by a now dominant Third-World-Majority electorate..

Some freepers still think elections can save them, not to mention all those who think *they* have the right candidate.

Mental illness is making the same meaningless motion over and over.

You’ve reached Romania, gentlemen. Best case. Worst case, you’ve reached Zim.

Actually, the precursor was the election of George Bush, discouraging the right; and planting the seeds of the financial collapse of 2008. Without the above, Zero never would have been elected.

As I've written here earlier: what if Gore won Florida in 2000? A few votes there/then has made a huge difference in outcome. Even though Gore would have been inept with the military; he would have also pursued financial “reforms” until the collapse but the backlash may have been conservative.

I'm thinking that Florida 2000 may have been a battle better off losing. Careful what you wish for, etc.

JFK was America’s worst mistake, and a fatal one.

“However, if there is one man who can take the most credit for the 1965 act, it is John F. Kennedy. Kennedy seems to have inherited the resentment his father Joseph felt as an outsider in Boston’s WASP aristocracy. He voted against the McCarran-Walter Act of 1952, and supported various refugee acts throughout the 1950s. In 1958 he wrote a book, A Nation of Immigrants, which attacked the quota system as illogical and without purpose, and the book served as Kennedy’s blueprint for immigration reform after he became president in 1960. In the summer of 1963, Kennedy sent Congress a proposal calling for the elimination of the national origins quota system. He wanted immigrants admitted on the basis of family reunification and needed skills, without regard to national origin. After his assassination in November, his brother Robert took up the cause of immigration reform, calling it JFK’s legacy. In the forward to a revised edition of A Nation of Immigrants, issued in 1964 to gain support for the new law, he wrote, “I know of no cause which President Kennedy championed more warmly than the improvement of our immigration policies.” Sold as a memorial to JFK, there was very little opposition to what became known as the Immigration Act of 1965.”

Far more damming than the mistake of electing Obama is the fact that nowhere did the system determine that he was ineligible to run, of if he was elected he was not eligibly to serve as President. The system has totally failed the individual citizen. The country is down by the bow with water coming over the main deck and refuses to answer the helm. Is that an iceberg in the distance?

The mistake was not electing Obama. The mistakes started at least 8 years before that when they NOMINATED GWB in 2000 and 2004. Then it was the icing on the cake when McCain was nominated.

I can’t seriously fault anyone for voting for Obama, when the other choice is McCain. McCain would have screwed things up ALMOST as bad and would have led to an Obama or Clinton election in 2016.

Less and less choices do not define freedom. Without America where can the freedom loving individual go?

Wake me up in November.

Please don’t tell me we blew it!
