Conservative Majority Fund Shady Past [Fox News Channel Airs Ad About Missing Records]
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2t2ZTYRjPP4&feature=player_embedded ^

This aired late this afternoon on the Fox News Channel and this is will not sit well with the White House. I have to say but I never have heard of the Conservative Majority Fund who is funding the ad. They make one mistake in the ad about Obama's social security number. They got the state wrong where his number was issued. Obama's social security number comes from Connecticut, a state he never lived in or had a mailing address. Not Massachusetts. Never the less, now it's time to see how Obama will respond.

All I have to say is that Obama's campaign managers right now are in crisis mode.

Airing it with the wrong SS# state is probably a tactical decision.

What can the Obama camp say “It’s not a Massachusetts Social Security number it’s from Connecticut” The error is just to suck in some fool dem to point out the ‘flaw’ :-)

This is a great ad to stroke the people who are not going to vote for Obama in the first place. Effective ads are aimed at the margins of uncommitted voters. I don’t see this as a very effective ad. JMHO.

I saw it on Fox News on TV (O’Reilly). You may be able to catch a re-run tonight.

BTW, I think an ad saying Obama wants Romney to open up his tax returns, but Obama won’t open up his college records, etc., would be effective. Don’t tie it to the birth certificate stuff, tie it to hypocrisy.

There are a lot of smart people on this site that might be able to explain to me how you “seal” all this stuff.

What rule, law, custom, threat, do you use to “seal” all the stuff Obama has “sealed?”

Can I do that too? I don't want my grandkids to know how many times I ditched class in high school (like they care but you get the point).

a very bad ad as far as an ad that’s supposed to change voter’s opinions.. I was ready to turn it off after just 10 seconds... and not because the ad wasn’t factual but because trying to watch it was like getting a tooth pulled...

Here is another ad from them. This one is better than the first. The Conservative Fund is out of Arlington,VA according to their website. Someone with deep pockets is behind this.

The comments following the youtube version of the ad mention that by calling the number in the ad there is a solicitation for money. They want your email, and info, etc.

On the other hand, who but a fringe outfit would have the wherewithall to run such an ad in the first place. Have no idea how this will play with Independents though, as everyone else has made up their mind.

Will it help or hurt with Indies?

Listening to that guy speak was very irritating. Reminded me of those commercials where the guy speaks so fast because they don’t want you to know what it really says in the small print.

“What rule, law, custom, threat, do you use to “seal” all the stuff Obama has “sealed?””

Executive Order. Further helped by a protective, thuggish cabal and an adoring, complicit media.

Actually according to a source, the guy behind the ads who owns the Conservative Majority Fund is named Larry Ward who is a protege of Dick Morris, President Clinton’s former campaign advisor and Fox News pundit. Lawrence also is president of PoliticalMedia.com.
