Thank you. As a conservative in Massachusetts, it can be tough on FR. Even though I well understand most fellow conservatives on FR speak about Massachusetts with the unsaid understanding that they know we aren’t all raving moon bats, it still hurts.
I used to do the exact same thing with California...talk about me wearing my faults on my back.
As for Chick-Fil-A...gonna be my new destination.

You are welcome! I think you will find Chick-fil-A a good place to eat. At least, you can try our Southern iced tea now. Smile. Hope that it will add okra to its menu!

I can relate being a conservative in New York State. Although I don’t live in the cesspool of liberalism known as NYC and it’s environs I do live in it’s liberal cousin Buffalo, over on the West Side of the state. Hard headed democrats who vote party over religion, there are many Catholics here. It is frustrating. The letters to the editor of the local fish wrap, The Buffalo Snews is enough to make one want to move, which I would if I could. It’s a long story.

What he said (and said quite well).
There are large concentrations of moonbattery in Mass. (Boston, Cambridge, Amherst) where Bitter Lizzy Warren stickers abound. But there are lots of conservatives here...enough to outnumber the moonbats, in my opinion. What the moonbats have in their favor are two large voting blocs that seem to often align with them: state workers (gotta vote dem to keep our jobs) and the ill-informed and apathetic ("stick with the devil you know" or "my grandpa said Republicans are bad"). That said, the anti-Obama sentiment is strong here. He might win the state, but it won't be by the same margin as last time.
