I would suspect that like most conservatives, they were opposed to Romney during the primaries. We are past that now and, as do most rational conservatives, they see the need to bury the primary hatchet and concentrate on the primary goal we all should still have; defeat Barack Obama.

Sudetenland couldn't have said it any better - a lot of these people are the conservatives who were trying to find someone more conservative than Romney to be the nominee, but now that that chapter has passed, are committed to making sure the socialist doesn't win re-election.

The fact there are so many conservatives willing to help out on July 4th just shows how committed we are to defeating Barack Obama and maintaining America as that “shining city on a hill.” I never thought so many people would be willing to work on a holiday. Unfortunately, we must put this election as a high priority because so much is at stake, even sacrificing some of the other things we would normally do.
