One more thought Dave..you might be surprised to find that they feel that we are a burden to them and have no qualms about us leaving. All the better! If they want to go their own way so be it.

But first, you must declare your intentions. That is what the Declaration of Independence was. It was a declaration of intentions outlining grievances against the crown and the reasons we no longer wanted to be part of it. The Brits made a big mistake reacting the way they did, and many in the UK did not want their government to react the way they did. The rest is history.

I predicted this way back in 2000. I can see nearly no way this nation can remain a union any longer. I would advise to wait till after the next election though.

I agree with your opinion. It’s a good thing to declare your intentions. But after your intentions are made known in a situation such as this, it would be a good thing to be ready for a reaction.

The Founders set up Committees of Safety to deal with King George’s atrocities and his Tory henchmen. These preparations included armed militias sponsored by the Continental Congress. It would behoove us to be likewise prepared. The Founders left a blueprint for us to follow. I don’t think we should stray too far from that plan because it worked.

Cheers, FRiend.

“I would advise to wait till after the next election though.”

I would add, though, that you are an honorable person. Scum like Buckwheat and his leftist cult have no concept of honor. When it comes time to assert our demands for liberty, we need to remember what, not who, we are dealing with.
