powers not specifically granted to the federal government are reserved by the states adn the people respecitively..
in a nutshell, the feds have no right to micromanage local law enforcement, as they were trying to do by restricting the right of officers to ask for proof of citizenship if they suspected that the person detained for another offense was indeed illegal.
arizona overreached by trying to impliment it’s own immigration policies..
the feds overreached by trying to micromanage local law enforcement..
As for your last paragraph, I agree wholeheartedly..time for the individual states attorney generals to start the lawsuits
