Survivors and bereaved families walked out of court on Friday as Anders Behring Breivik, the Norwegian confessed killer of 77 people, launched into a final tirade against multiculturalism.
In an hour-long salvo, which drew bemusement and laughter from some in the packed courtroom, he lashed out at perceived threats to "cultural conservatives" including Sex and the City and Norway's "asylum seeker" representation at the Eurovision song contest.
About a dozen people walked out of court as he began a speech which concluded with the demand that he be found innocent and acquitted.
"The attacks on July 22 were preventive attacks to defend the indigenous Norwegian people," he said. "I therefore demand to be acquitted."
In a reversal of normal court convention, the prosecutors are demanding the Breivik be found insane and transferred to compulsory mental healthcare. Breivik claims his actions were "necessary" to prevent the Islamic colonisation of Norway, and has demanded he be found sane.
The defence lawyer Geir Lippestad evoked Breivik's "fundamental human right" to be considered sane. "The defendant has a radical political project. To make his acts something pathological and sick deprives him of his right to take responsibility for his own actions," he said.
"It is a reverse situation since they want him acquitted. I say that their plea should not be accepted, and Anders Behring Breivik should be treated as leniently as possible."
he authors of the first report, which concluded that Breivik had psychotic paranoid schizophrenia, said he was suffering from the central delusion that "he is going to save us all from doom in the fight between good and evil. In this fight he believes he has the responsibility to say who will live and who will die. This responsibility is rooted in a senior position in a non-existent organisation."

Interesting. Because Breivik does not accept the elites policy of destroying traditional Norwegian culture by flooding Norway with third world moslems he must be insane.

Anders did attack Leftwingtards-in-training at the island where the collectivist indoctrination camp for children is located.
He claims to have met a Serb in Liberia and in 2002 he and 4 others founded this group. The police know he was in Liberia as he says and in London. But they believe he was there to try to buy blood diamonds not what Breivik says. Same story about London.
Other stuff the psychiatrist belives makes him insane is his role in this stand against islam. He belives that he will start a new world order and that in 60 years everyone will see that he was right. He wants to make reservations in Norway where only right wing,ethnic Norwegians that hate multiculturalism will live.
It is when you here him talk or write about this new world order he really seems insane.
Breivik killed 77 people with bullets and bombs in order to “fight” the Muslim invasion and liberal sellout of Norway.
So his sanity is questioned.
But if some Muslim killed 77 people with bullets and bombs in order to “fight” for Islam’s “right” to rule the world...
... Norway would never question his sanity.
Oh, wait - Muslims ARE shooting and killing “nonbelievers” and openly bragging about invading country’s infrastructures to seditiously take them over and change their laws to Sharia - every single day.
But of course, that doesn’t matter - and doesn’t even exist, even though everyone admits it exists.
Breivik took the wrong solution to a very real problem. In fact, the problem is just as serious and threatening as he says it is. Unfortunately, what he did slandered the legitimacy of the problem to the whole world, and made it much more difficult to deal with now.
Gee, it’s almost like a perfect psyop on behalf of labelling anyone who sees the muslim threat clearly as a potentially murderous extremist.
But that’s impossible. It can’t be a psyop. Because, well, things like that don’t happen.
Because if they did, the conspiracy would be so big, it would be...
...well, it would be uncomfortable to think about, that’s what.
And while the West is tolerant of many things, discomfort is NOT one of them.
Part of the philosophy of the international socialist movement, openly composed of socialist political parties in many nations, including the Labour Party in Norway, whose Workers’ Youth League was shot up by Breivik, is to eliminate cultural and ethnic homogeneity in nations, to destroy them as more than administrative districts in regional blocs, in the pursuit of international government.
And by shooting up the next generation of Labour leaders, Breivik calculated that he could prevent the Norwegian people and their culture being destroyed in this way. Norway is very vulnerable to immigration, as there are fewer than 5m Norwegians. Labour was inviting unlimited numbers of foreigners in on the condition they support the Labour party.

Breivik’s views are a trite caricature of how socialists paint non-believers. He could be carrying out a false flag operation.

In either case it is bird of a feather ultimately, the latter a bit more clever, subtile and dangerous, perhaps.

I do not find anything bemusing about this whole tragic situation for Norway. BUt again, communist thinking wants to portray opponents as bemusing or exagerating or crazy all the time, indicating their guilt. And as for liberals, they are clueless about their own evil and evil of others. It is naivete in a sick way.
It’s interesting that nobody claims the right to be presumed sane in a jurisdiction where multiple murder carries the death penalty.
There is a practical reason the prosecutors want Breivik found insane is that then he will committed to a mental hospital where he most likely will never leave.
If he is found sane, then just a cozy prison cell for 21 years and he may even get out. Another Norwegian mass murderer of 23 people only spent 14 of 21 years behind bars.
Breivik missed his real target of fmr. PM Gro Haarlem Brundtland, the mother of multiculturism who left a few hours earlier after giving a speech at Utøya.
Well I see that others have expanded upon my point, i.e. those who promote flooding Norway with Moslems who refuse to assimilate into the traditional culture are gladly painting Breivik as insane because they can paint his observations of the damage done by cultural marxism and the jihad against western culture as insane by association.
In Western civilization, a mass murderer who kills many Islamics (or their enablers) is prosecuted, and found guilty -- or, more likely, insane.
In Islamic cultures, a mass murderer who kills many non-Islamics (or their enablers) is celebrated. Children are taught that this is a role model. Clerics declare the murderer a most holy man.
