If you call twisting the truth a gift, I suppose Catholics have it. Protestants end up with homo-marriage, abortion, divorce and re-marriage? Hmmmm. I've been married once. Over 30 years. I condemn homo-marriage and abortion but I do think N.Pelosi (self proclaimed Catholic) supports those. Your broad brush painting (which doesn't hold up) discredits your side.

I wouldn't know what Pelosis bishop says or doesn't say. I do know what you wrote about Protestants who all claim and end up with homo-marriage, etc . . . . Catholics superior know-it-all attitude reminds me of the Disciples who argued who was the greatest of them. I would suggest before pointing out the speck in Protestants eyes that you remove the beam from the Catholics.

You rightly condemned Pelosi (due to her anti-Catholic and doctrinally perverse views) but then used her views as evidence that Catholicism cannot be right.

In reply I noted that Pelosi’s bishop has forbidden her from receiving communion (due to her anti-Catholic and doctrinally perverse views) and you shrug, claim ignorance, and pretend as if I had not totally undercut your point.

“Are you a heretic” is not making it personal. “You are a heretic” is making it personal.

That is why I avoid the religion forum. For instance...without any doubt, Mormonism is heresy. Therefore, a practicing Mormon is a heretic. To call one a heretic is not ad hominen...it is the truth. Romney is a devout Mormon, which makes him a heretic....plain and simple truth. When the “Magic Mormon” speaks, I know he is lying, because he is a child of Satan...the father of lies. It is in Romney’s nature to be a liar...it comes from his heretical beliefs that define him as a child of Satan...not God. Romney and Mormons have no part in the Lord Jesus Christ...they just use his name in “false advertisement.”
