The presidential candidate with an "R" behind his name thinks it's just fine for queers to adopt children, as long as they "love each other".
My wife and I just adopted two children a couple of weeks ago and this is a subject that's close to my heart, it makes me shiver to think that they might possibly have been adopted by perverts if we didn't have them.

You are right, and I am convinced the courts will have to find that any and all marriage is allowed as this plays out. It makes my skin crawl to think I will likely live to see folks getting benefits (tax breaks, insurance, etc.) for being married to their dog...
If polygamy is allowed spouse and widows benefits from various government administrations will be interesting. I can just see the government paying widow’s benefits to 5 or more wives.

I wonder if the new book “The Gaggle: How the Guys You Know Will Help You Find the Love You Want” is a precursor to this - one man can’t do all and be all for you, so don’t bother with monogamy, just have a polyandry “gaggle”. Vette, it is truly amazing how a Mormon could know NOTHING about Mormonism.
Sentinel, like me, CC, grey, sz and others here are not just ‘non-Mormons’, we are EX-Mormons. We used to be part of that cult and it amazes me that ex-mo’s always no more about Mormon history and doctrine than current LDS do. I suppose if current Mormons knew that much, they would no longer be Mormon.
Sentinel is correct, the FLDS has the same founding prophets, the same scriptures etc as LDS and in reality the polygamous groups are the REAL Mormons since they still practice the ‘eternal principle’ of polygamy, the one the SLC breakoff threw under the bus.
He is also correct about the occult practices and symbols. Temple square is full of them and Smith’s Jupiter talisman is in possession of SLC.
Also, Christians are never called to be tolerant of unChristian teachings and doctrines, rather we are to fight heresies like Mormonism which is what we do.
