In the case of Zimmerman, there’s just not enough evidence to build a case.

And most of the evidence that there is points to legitimate self defense against a drugged up thug. But don't worry...if the criminals prosecuting him can't get at him they're already busy building a case against his wife.

I can't stand Roger Clemens!! But as much as I dislike the man, I wouldn't wish what the government did to him even on my worst enemy!

A long, winding road to get Clemens

Some 93 federal agents interviewed 179 individuals in 68 locations and produced 235 reports of their interviews to prepare for the Roger Clemens perjury trial.

Ha ha ha! Booyaaa!

The entire Congressional “investigation” was so much horse flop, one of those distractions while they threw more turds in the punch bowl.

Do you think any one of them will be fired or demoted for incompetence?

He “misremembered” as Clemens stated. A Clintonian word wouldn’t you say?

Both Clements and Bonds were targeted by prosecutors out to make their names and due to their celebrity. It’s a denial of the spirit of equal protection. I don’t care for either player but they got jobbed.

Clemens is an arrogant jerk with or without 7 Cy Young awards!

I get the impression you don't watch the boys throw the little ball around.

I wouldn't want to meet him, go to his house or talk to him on the phone, ever.

See my post 43. ...not even on my worst enemy.

Congress lies to us everyday. Why should we care if someone lies to them?

10 out of 12 jurors agree...

I think Clemens is a dummy, but it irriates me to see issues like this being pushed through the system. We are paying for it with money we don’t have. I would rather pay for new military gear with that money we don’t have.

so the lesson learned here....is if the govt wants you to go before congress....

take the 5th no matter what its for.

because if it is to describe your favorite cake icing and you transpose the ingredients wrong....they will cite you for lying to congress....

right now they can cite me for contempt of congress for what I think of them....

I find it a sad commentary on our state of our union that so many here (including myself) don't give a crap about him lying to habitual liars.

Yes, I know, "rule of law" should mean something, and I used to support it with all my being. However, in this day when the Attorney General can lie to Congress, I am quickly losing my support for the current biased "rule of law" against citizens, while our Fedgov ignores it.

If I had a dollar for every time a Fedgov representative has lied to the American people, I would own a mansion in Beverly Hills and have my yacht in the harbor. I just don't care anymore. Think less of me if you will; I've earned my say and beliefs.

NICE! I agree! This would be akin to writing a rubber check for $400 cell phone, when you could have at least purchased some food for the depleted refrigerator!
