Examiner.com ^ | June 1, 2012 | Hank Plante

Posted on 06/05/2012 12:45:30 PM PDT by kevcol

June is Gay Pride Month all across America, and retailer Macy’s is celebrating the month by featuring merchandise in its stores from the Human Rights Campaign.

The HRC is the largest LGBT civil rights organization in the country, and Macy’s will sell HRC merchandise during June in its stores in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Boston, Columbus and St. Louis. The merchandise includes “Vote Equality” t-shirts and other items with the HRC’s famous blue-and-gold “equal sign” logo.

100% of the proceeds from sales will go to HRC’s fight for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender equality

.
.
He added, “During Pride Month and throughout the year, we will remain committed to supporting the LGBT community through a variety of initiatives including our long-standing partnership with the Human Rights Campaign.”

Geeez. I read the headline and thought Hillary was going to come out of the closet to “celebrate” homosexual month.

“Vote Equality”? In MA? We weren’t allowed to. I wonder why?

For my list as well.

Now Target, JCP & Macy.

Hoping I won’t have to boycott forever, I really like all of those stores.

I’ve been boycotting Macy’s since they fired a Christian saleswoman for prevent a male from using the women’s dressing room. Interestingly enough, the saleswoman was black so I’m sure she doesn’t like the whole “gay is the new black” baloney.

According to “Examiner”?

It might be true, but “Examiner” ain’t the source.

“News” indeed.

Oddly enough, when I read the headline, I thought that they were talking about Hillary Rodham Clinton. Then I read the body of the story.

Are there any clothing stores or discount stores committed to an American conservative ideal and the values that go along with that? And is there a list?

I’ve stopped shopping at Wall-mart, Target, Penny’s(which I used to purchase my kids school clothes there), now Macy’s. I’ve also stopped purchasing coke and pepsi.

Macys and Target, two stores I shopped at regularly, are now both off my list.

I have found the Examiner pretty reliable (moreso than most), but alright, I'll play along...for your sake:

Wall Street Journal

Macy's own website

It's a pay-per-hit blog. It can be reliable or not.

Any homeless smacktard with access to a library can be an "Examiner".

Take it with a gain of salt and know that all the info was stolen from somewhere else.

It's actually a print newspaper in my area with a web counterpart. Its also the most conservative print newspaper in my area! maybe not in all areas, but it is here in VA.

Perhaps you are confusing the Washington Examiner with the
Examiner blog site. They want you to do that. They are not
the same.
