The ideal is that the nominally "good" people of all races and cultures in the community will stand together against the criminal element. In these times, however, for partisan political purposes, certain groups are insisting that tribal loyalty trumps any allegiance to community values or morality.
In which case, the "tribe" had better hope the politicians they support have unlimited checkbooks, because they aren't going to be getting jobs or business or any kind of support from the rest of us. Shunning isn't just for the Amish.

The one thing that keeps the thugs in this country from taking over is self defense. Otherwise we would be Mexico or Africa.
If these “protestors” made threats against this guy’s life, law enforcement has to take action or we are going to have a war. They think they are above justice. Americans are not going to surrender to them.
