My retirement is just about spent and I just took out a loan to buy a Cessna that I never intended to have to pay back.

Oh great, because uh, obviously they had all the answers. Ya know, because they’re so CULTURAL and EARTHY and like they just FEEL so SPIRITUAL woooooo.....
So now we’re all safe, because the EARTHY SPIRITUAL MAYAN SHAMAN says so, woooo...
Because we all believe that so much more than the actual Bible with REAL prophecies that have been PROVEN true.
To: SunkenCiv
Archeologists have unearthed what they say is the oldest known version of the Mayan calendar and one that doesn't "end" with the Earth's destruction later this year.

After obama’s laws start kicking in in 2013 it may not be the end of the world but it WILL be the end of America. I have a feeling there will be some who will cry out for the mountains to fall on them.

...Tulane Universitys Marc Zender, who led the expedition, says that the Mayan calendar still begins a new long cycle in 2012, but compares he compares to an "odometer on a car rolling over from 99,999 miles to zero... Nothing ever said the Mayan calender ever indicated anything other than a "rolling over."
After all, it's a wheel.
On the other hand, a second hand clicks off a minute hand when it finishes a cycle, and a minute hand clicks off an hour hand when it finishes a cycle. Likewise, the Mayans say that when this calendar finishes its cycle on December 21, 2012 (winter solstice), if finishes the "Fourth Sun" and initiates the "Fifth Sun."
What does that mean?
"Something wonderful."

The irony of the timing of this is unbelievable. Those who thought the world would end THIS YEAR in 6 months suddenly have a new calendar that says NOT YET.
The correction is found in the year we were all freaked out.

So, let’s continue to party like it’s 1999.
