Oh sure. Yeah. we could have had Bachmann carry the Tea Party mantel against him in November, and gotten creamed. Which would’ve been seen as not only a MANDATE for socialism, but also a repudiation of conservatives.
If Mittens wins, it’s not great for conservatism, but it’ll be impossible to claim a Romney win is a win for the Occutards and Black Pantherism.
Seriously. This insanity that “Mitt is identical to Navy Seal Obama” will eventually die off as Obama’s antics become more outrageous (war in Iran coming up, btw).

Excellent! We need to get everyone on the same page to oppose the Obama machine.
It would be a big mistake for principled conservatives like Bachman or Santorum, or Newt to endorse Romney.
Another 4 years of Obama will be checked by congress and to some extent by the courts. The world won’t end with Obama’s reelection. However, if the likes of Romney in the GOP learn that in the end the conservatives run to whoever the Washingtom obcom nominates, the damage to conservatives will last generations.
All of the pro-life conservatives EXCEPT Santorum have now endorsed Romney.
