Newt messed up in Virginia. He should have more people working for him to get him on the ballot. He had some people who thought it was funny to mess up his signatures. However he Newt lost Oklahoma, Tenn, Miss, Louisiana to Rick so neither one of them wanted to bow out and it cost us our pick!!! All they had to do is one bow out. Often before I come to FR, I pray for my own spiritual control, because on my own I say many things that don't please the Lord, and have to beg Him (and others) for forgiveness. I've done that more times than I would like to admit.
We are all fallible. We are all sinners, saved by grace, and if we don't reflect the grace and love given freely to us to others, we need to ask for forgiveness.
Be careful about your Pharisaical attitude. Jesus Christ condemned those who thought they were superior to others and belittled everyone who didn't follow their personal code (not HIS), far more than He condemned the repentant sinner.
I will continue to pray that both of us behave more like the latter than the former.
Because if we don't, we heap dishonor on the Name of our Savior who died for our sins by behaving sinfully toward others, and in cases such as this, before many witnesses. Just because we are hiding under screen names doesn't mean our sins are hidden before a Holy God.
