Another good quote. And I'll highlight this The event is in the hand of God.

That's where I stand - do what I know is right and the rest is up to Him. And not to be shaken by what I see because HE sees ALL.

Thanks. It's a good message to close with.

His only viable opponent

Viable? What in the world makes you think Romney is viable?

Do you REALLY think a pro-choice Mormon is gonna get votes from the Christian Right?

When is the last time that a YANKEE Republican got the Southren vote?

Good to hear there are still some ‘thinking’ and honorable conservatives left!!

And not like those who are clueless and putty in the hands by dishonorable deceitful ones to be lead astray into the hands of liberals - Mitt used them, also, to put him in office. They would NOT listen but instead mocked true conservatives because of their stupidity.

Untrue, don't set your standard up for defining true conservative. Most true conservatives will be voting for Romney.

However the anti Romney cult, of which you are obviously a member, won't.

That does't make you a true conservative.

It makes you a true _______

The blank is left open to your imagination.

Tigerseye: You can smugly vote for socialism and claim you did all you could while our country goes down the drain.

Neither voting for socialism nor smug nor happy about the s(h)ituation we find ourselves in. Ok. Let's play your metaphor.

The drain (Republic, Economy, etc) is plugged. We had the chance to nominate our best guy, an hnest conservative plumber early on to fix the mess. Instead we kept pushing competitive bidding among them until all the little guys couldn't afford to continue. But the big corporate Mr RINO-Rooter conglomerate in town held out because they have the cash and the discipline and is now the only game in town.

Now there's also a Commie from the City Waste dept who is offering to come out and have "his people" destroy your house and remove all your plumbing and give you free chamber-pots and a wheelbarrow and a shovel.

So you can choose to run off into the woods to get away from the smell. But until we can get some honest plumbers back in the business (the ones this time turned out to be shams didn't they?**) then we merely have the choice of how long we can clear the drains until the next clog (4 years?)....or completely turn our house into a third world cesspool for the next century.

** Which one of these two-faced "conservative" suckups who are now not just caving, but supporting the RINO did we want to be our "principled" leader?

If American conservatives want real political influence they must drop the habit of endorsing RINOs against the Democrats.

Otherwise will have RINOs only at the helm of power, and the conservative TV show during primaries that does nothing but damage to the conservative movement.

Learn from Marine Le Pen: grow your own party.

What you are saying is if we do not agree with you we are wrong. You are being rude to people simply because they have a different opinion than you. You do not see how arrogant that is?

What I am saying is pretty clear. I do not respect your opinion on this. I do not respect a decision to vote for Obama, nor can I respect a person who enables him. I also do not respect a person who believes in Islam. I do not respect a single Occupy Wall Street person. I do not respect Bill Ayers, Eric Holder, Elizabeth Warren or Ahmadinejad or Barack Obama.

You are entitiled to your opinion, as I am entitled to mine.

You are NOT entitled to be respected for your decision.

Obama voters will respect you for withholding your vote, they will even admire you and applaud you.

So you needn't worry about my opinion of you. You've got lots of support. Good for you.

It's Jean-Marie. Not Marine. Yeah, why don't YOU learn something from Le Pen. Formed "his own" party in NINETEEN SEVENTY TWO.

And what did he do? Corral all the far right wing away from politics giving France 40 years of left vs. ultra-left debates.

And we don't have proportional coalition governments....and frankly...if your attitude prevailed in France, they couldn't have coalition governments there either because you would never form common cause with the "not right enough" people to get anything passed.

I only hope this petulance will wane. The intellectual shock of having supported a “principled conservative” as some kind of “we are the resistance” movement...to then have Newt or Bachmann or Palin or whatever dream candidate turn around and support the guy and the establishment you thought was evil incarnate?

That’s got to take a while to right your head. I don’t trust any of these charlatans. That makes reality easier to take when it hits.

Please, guys... we all know that any elected official or major candidate who wants to stay in Republican politics at the big league levels is going to endorse Mitt Romney. The last time major Republicans opposed the Republican nominee after the convention and got away with it was in 1964, when Romney's father was among many others who opposed Goldwater.

Those of us who are not in elected office have more freedom.

Let's face it: Romney beat us. Gingrich, Santorum, Cain, Perry, and Bachmann supporters all have more in common with each other than any of us have with Romney, and now we have virtually the worst possible Republican candidate because we couldn't unify behind a single candidate. We need to stop beating each other up and trying to work to put the conservative movement back together if, as seems likely, Romney loses this fall.

Let's not bash each other when we're going to have to find a way to work together after November.

A word to the people who opposed Rick Santorum: Xzins is correct when he says that “All of the pro-life conservatives EXCEPT Santorum have now endorsed Romney. Rick, the GOP-e won’t like you if you don’t get with the program and back the Massachusetts $50 babykiller.”

I am all but certain that Santorum will eventually endorse Romney and will be both very shocked and very happy if he doesn't, but as of today, the guy some people liked to attack as a stalking horse for Romney is the last one left **NOT** to endorse him.

Think about that.

As I wrote earlier, political animals have to play the game the Ruling Class sets as their rules and kiss the bungholes and lick the palms of those Masters if they want have a seat at their table.

We citizens do not have to play that game, because it is our votes and money they needed to keep themselves in perpetual power.

Soon however, they will have no need for either from us, because they know what the transformation is going to be, and they decided to play along for power's sake and a crack at all our redistributed money.

So they rigged this election to be a win, win for themselves by getting rid of the 'ball and chain of Conservatives'.

I won't play their game by their rules and hold my nose for the trap they set for me. But then, I'm not a political animal either and I am not beholden to them.

Whats going to be hilarious are going to be the posts when Palin endorses Romney, because she knows Obama is the worst possible outcome. I wonder if she will be called whore and RINO etc. I agree with you. I dont trust any politicians either, any of them. However, I know which one is worse for the country and plans to damage it as much as possible for his twisted marxist ideology and that is Obama. Like I said in a previous post that folks overlooked and never commented on. They are a reason that russia and china endorse Obama for four more years. They love the “flexibility” with our national defense. Only a fool would not see that.

I’ve said all along that they will all endorse Romney at some point. Its just the way things are done.

Duncan Hunter endorsed McCain on a promise then later retracted saying that McCain had broken the promise. However Hunter was leaving politics after that race anyway.
