Obama's best-selling but apparently largely unread memoir "Dreams From My Father,"

I have long wondered about this... It seems like the book has been read by more of Mr. Obama's critics than his groupies.

The Party of aged 1960s Marxist-Alinsky campus radicals (spoiled brats) does the Twist "A 6-year-old with no choice in the matter" is not the same as a grown man choosing to place his dog on the roof of his vehicle.

But Mr. Steyn says My Canadian compatriot Kate McMillan, a dog breeder, advised [the Rats] to "try this experiment — sit a normal, American 6-year-old down at a plate and tell him it's dog meat. Watch what happens."

IMO most American voters are reacting to the Obama campaign as those children would react to being served dog meat.

The Rats (formerly the traditional, patriotic Democratic Party) is not Henry "Scoop" Jackson, Hubert Humphrey, Harry Truman -- I knew that Democratic Party. The Democratic Party was a friend of America.

The Rat Party is by design no friend of America. Its leaders are aged 1960s Marxist-Alinsky campus radicals (spoiled brats) and their bratty issue including the President.

They are stuck in an imaginary world of their campus youth. But they are far from harmless brats.. some are indeed psycho dangerous. All are egoists and ideologues with contempt for our tradition, dedicated to changing America to their benefit personally and ideologically.

Another four years of these crazies? If the professionals (military and LEO) do not act Lord help us.

". . . some key [events] exacerbated the national debate, fraying trust, and national cohesion just a little more each time . . . The two-party system that had governed America . . . begin to fall apart . . . interest in politics took the place of all other forms of news-related entertainment . . . politicians were the celebrities . . . [Politics/ideology] was becoming such a habit, the reactions so automatic, that [journalists] taking sides on every news story became inevitable." .. sound familiar? this is from for Love & Liberty by Robin Young and it's about 1857 America at the start of the administration of James Buchanan.

Obama wanted to be Lincoln and Roosevelt (with a taunting of Reagan to rock and roil the Ship of State).. So the second term Obama will be Buchanan?

Brilliant writing by Mark Steyn - and encouraging news, too.

The Dims are going to throw anything and everything at the Romney wall, hoping something will stick. And if, by chance, something does, prepare to hear about it 24/7 from the MSM.

Personally, I think Obama is toast. The economy stinks and he’s past the fail-safe point for things to turn around. He can’t run on his record and his notoriously thin skin will keep him from staying focused. I know many here fear Romney will be like McCain, afraid to criticize our Dear Leader, but I don’t think that’s the case. Romney has a bit of a mean streak in him. And to his credit he’s stayed focused on Obama’s poor record and economy. That’s how we’ll win.

Like many Indonesians, Lolo followed a brand of Islam that could make room for the remnants of more ancient animist and Hindu faiths. He explained that a man took on the powers of whatever he ate:

Now I understand! Given White House policy of daily attacks upon makers by the takers; dines upon laughing hyena.

Well, I'm not gonna go there on a family forum...

"First dog-eating President in the history of the republic"?

I guess we can't be sure about all of the previous Presidents. Many of their youthful indiscretions were not recorded for posterity.

I'm thinking Sam Houston might have eaten dog while he was living with the Indians, but I guess when "the republic" is used without further specification it means "the United States," not the Republic of Texas.

Obama at WH correspondents dinner on Sarah Palin

A pit bull is delicious.”
