An obsessive need to control the lives of others; “control addicts”....

Well there you go again herding everyone born between 1945 and 1964 into a “group” of numb skulls that wanted Government to be the ultimate provider. They used this generation mostly because never in history had so many young adults and married couples both worked. This allowed SS and Medicare to grow by trillions of dollars. They were so vapidly wanting to get their hands on these trillions they voted these laws to expand the benefits to millions. Why not? The boomers won’t be retiring for another 30 years or so right? Well, the old can they’ve been kicking down the road is now bouncing back at them. Let’s blame the boomers right?

Did it ever occur to you that these laws have mostly been written and voted on by that lovely “Greatest” generation like Pelosi, Bush 1 and 2 and the likes of the famous Kennedy Klan. You think Harry Reid is a baby boomer? Think again young one. We were and still are all screwed!

The biggest state monster are the family courts and VAWA. The definition of ‘abuse’ has become so plastic as to mean anything. This sets up an all powerful, unaccountable family court. That is a child of the left and republicans have been giving it only tepid resistance.

The world will continue to be a more dangerous place until we put the PC crap aside and address the people who are the greatest contributors to all this unrest.

The world would be much safer without Muslims. PERIOD! Those who refuse to yield on this point are assuring the destruction of civilization. There is no way these 6th century sand monkeys can ever be brought into main stream civilization. In fact they are heading in the other direction but the PC morons will give them cover.

In the USA we have one group representing ~~6.5% of the population yet contribute 50% of all crimes. All we can say about this group without the PC police getting offended is that it is the male half of the group.

In fact, put race religion aside, it is the people who are the most easily offended that are actually causing the vast majority of the problem. The fact that they get so easily offended tells me they know they have a problem but as they have no solution the only alternative is playing the offended or race card.

The Jews at Babi Yar were 100% safe from criminal activity. The SS would have shot any criminals in the area mmediately.

Americans need to redevelop a healthy desire to be safe from government.

Actually you are right in that I should have included the Silent Generation, my parents generation, as they started it all. I do not blame the WWII generation, because they did not massively expand the Federal Government which basically started accelerating in the 70s.

The WWII generation won the war, rebuilt Europe, payed the debt of the war off in 7 years, and left for their children (the Silent Generation), the most prosperous country the world had ever seen.

The other thing to note is that when you run deficits, you can do something about it. Change the laws, fix the problem. That is one thing the post WWII generations have been completely inept at. No matter what the people scream about, the leaders of the Federal Government are responsible for their inaction in the face of these issues and the growing of the role of the Federal Government, most of which has happened in the last 40 years.

More than that. They are will-to-power driven killers without conscience.

Well, that generation voted mostly for the expansion of benefits. Remember when “senior citizens” were the precious voting block? BTW, I was in my teens in the 70’s and could not vote yet. I’m a baby boomer.

Yes. They wanted the government to take care of their parents (so they did not have to) and themselves as well. My grandfather, born in 1907, never wanted anything from anyone and was proud of the fact he never got a dime from anyone.

BTW, I was in my teens in the 70’s and could not vote yet. I’m a baby boomer.

Same here. Born in 56.
