President Barack Obama has an ambitious plan for Washington bureaucrats to take command of the oceans—and with it control over much of the nation’s energy, fisheries, even recreation in a move described by lawmakers as the ultimate power grab to zone the seas.
The massive undertaking also includes control over key inland waterways and rivers that reach hundreds of miles upstream, and began with little fanfare when Obama signed an executive order in 2010 to protect the aquatic environment.
“This one to me could be the sleeping power grab that Americans will wake up to one day and wonder what the heck hit them,” said Rep. Bill Flores (R –Texas).
“This is pure administrative fiat,” said Sen. David Vitter (R –La.). “It’s very troubling.”
“This is purely a unilateral administrative action with no real congressional input or oversight,” Vitter said. “I think it clearly threatens to have a big impact on a lot of industry, starting with energy, oil and gas, and fishing.”
But in his zeal to curb sea sprawl, lawmakers say the president’s executive order also gives Washington officialdom unprecedented reach to control land use as well.

Has his own immigration policies

We are wasting our money keeping Congress living like Kings when they are totally unneeded and useless.
First, it starts with Congress and the Oceans Act of 2000. Then there GW Bush's involvement and now Obama.
I remember that LOST treaty bush tried to sign.
Basically I am of the mode and Bush and Obama are carbon twins of each other at this point.
There is almost no difference whatsoever between them.
IOW, the Land and Water Czar will be knocking on my door demanding tax for having my boat in Hussein’s river and will take possession of my water well because some of that water might be his. Of course, without drinking water, I’ll have to walk away from my land and he’ll have that, too.

YES - and this is yet another example of why adding conservatives to the House and taking the Senate will NOT be enough!!! BHO just bypasses Congress completely. And it’s a travesty that at least the House doesn’t have the cojones to initiate impeachment - of course, BHO knows this - that no one dares to fight him.
All these executive orders, large power grabs, czar/cabinet appointments and carte blanche authorization, SCOTUS justices, etc., are child’s play compared to what he’ll do in a second, unrestrained term. Our republic is over if that happens, and that’s why the majority of us will, in the end, vote for anyone running against this Islamic radical, anti-Judeo/Christian, hater of America and her patriots, plotting and carrying out our destruction as swiftly as he can.
The house can stop all this extraconstitutional BS by defunding all of his edicts and going further to defunding ALL of his excursions, all of his everything. No money, no dictator-like dictates. He can sit in the Oval Office and command cheese from the moon.
They can impeach him. They can challenge each of his dictates to the Supreme court. Every one. Every time. They can make his ‘rule’ impossible.
But they do not. Why? That’s the problem.
Let the left and the MSM scream. Let them threaten. Let them cry wolf.
