Will Øbama ever learn anything?

Viewed with a little sympathy, it easy to see that Obama was afflicted with a difficult childhood, given his parents. As an adolescent and young man, he apparently struggled to understand his place in the world, to establish an identity. It is understandable that he would turn inward and retreat into intellectual fantasies like socialism, and racial politics, it happens. Healthier intellects embrace and engage the world around them, his intellectual training and habits have built up barriers to sheild him from it.

One can have sympathy for a person so afflicted, but you would have to be out of your mind to want him to lead your country. He may be the most intellectually, philosophically, and experientially least qualified president in our nation's history. It could be worse.

Lonesome: “He may be the most intellectually, philosophically, and experientially least qualified president in our nation’s history.”

That is so true and well put. Most FReepers knew Barack Obama wasn’t qualified for the presidency before he was elected, but I doubt many of us knew just how poorly qualified he was. I do sympathize for him. Thank the Lord I was raised up by moral parents in a time when the schools weren’t trying to tear America down in order to remake it. Can you imagine being raised with a list of grievances against an imaginary foe who conspires to keep you down yet continually advances you beyond your capabilities on the basis of your skin color???
