Keith Olbermann: Machine Gun for Hire (Next stop: Al Jazeera?)
NY Times ^ | 4/1/12 | David Carr

Posted on 04/01/2012 3:46:54 AM PDT by jimbo123

Given Keith Olbermann’s abrupt removal at Current and his typically temperate response — “Current’s statement are untrue and will be proved so in the legal actions I will be filing against them presently” — it seems as if his next stop will be a puppet show shot from a basement somewhere. He’ll never work in this town, or any other, again, right?

Wrong. Many of his past employers will testify to his unmanageability and unpleasantness, but the fact of the matter is that somewhere, sometime, after some kind of cooling-off period, Mr. Olbermann will be coming to a television near you.

This story is a complete white-wash of Olbermann. They try to blame his miserable 177,000 viewership on the black backdrop of the Current set.

The fact is, the only reason Olbermann reached a million viewers on MSNBC is that it is MSNBC and probably has a hard-core million leftist watching it no matter what schlock dim-wit they put on.

Olbermann is finished. 177,000 is his number and he owns it.

I could not care less about olberman. If he dropped dead in the next 10 minutes, it would not affect my life.

I laugh at how many times the Left tries to recycle this misfits. First you see them on tv, then they move to radio, then back to tv and then....epic fail. They never learn that the majority of this country doesn’t give a crap about their agenda. But, we have to all bend over for the AGENDA. I hope he gets what he deserves, nothing.
Arrogance personified.

So the Slimes admits what all conservatives know: Olberbaby is a certified nutjob. An uncontrollable, nasty prima-donna with a slim grasp on reality (and sanity) who couldn’t get along with Mother Theresa.

Didn’t I read somewhere that he was looking for a way out anyway?

So what is the problem? They did him a favor breaking up with him first. He is just ticked he didn’t get the last word in.

Kind of like Rosie’s show getting cancelled a day early. Heh heh heh. Wonder what shenanigans she had planned for the last day. I hope Orca’s people spilled the beans and gave Rosebud away- just desserts for her treatment of them. Excuse me, ALLEGED treatment.

If I had to step over his twitching body to get to the remote to dvr the Capitol One commercial so hubby could see the funny goat in it that sings, it would affect my life. Momentarily, but still.

Blubberman isn’t worth the effort to cross the room to spit on him if he was on fire.

Probably correct. After all, somebody’s got to pitch those Snuggies and Sham-Wows.

If I were fat al, I'd be gettin' worried.

The kooks at msnbc have proven that they have no morals or ethics and they know that keith o is a big draw with the crazy lefties.

The guy has serious problems.

At MSNBC, I have heard that during his over the top commentary, he would regularly wet himself and the janitorial crew had to clean up. He should have went with a heavy duty adult diaper.

He also was ripped a new one by a woman he had an aborted fling with. She blogged many details about how inept and cowardly he is with the women.

He needs mental help.

Mr. Olbermann will be coming to a television near you.

Any 'television near me' with his ugly, insipid mug on it gets turned off. Immediately.

“If I were fat al, I’d be gettin’ worried.”

Nope, Fat Al has a deck full of race cards, he’s safe.

MSNBC is stuck with....”This muck we mush and you can be sure we will munch much.”....everyday at 6PM FOREVER!

I had seen 46000 a number of places.

http://amerpundit.com/2011/10/18/olbermanns-ratings-fall-to-just-46000/
http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-505123_162-49641680/keith-olbermann-paid-10-million-to-lose-viewers/

But he wasn’t fired for being unpleasant.

Good.

I don't watch MSNBC, and I will especially not watch MSNBC at 6 pm or whenever Fat Al is on.

When I first saw Keith Olbermann on ESPN, I thought he was hilarious and I enjoyed his telecasts. Unfortunately, not only is Liberalism a Mental disorder, but an increasingly progressive disease that attacks until it destroys the host. He became unbearable when he left sports for PMSNBC, and by the time he came back for NBC football telecasts, he totally sucked.

It is so funny, watching commies fight among themselves.

Sorta like the periodic power struggles in Communist countries between the Trotskyites, the Stalinists, the Hitlerites, and the Maoists.
