The extreme malcontents on this forum would be saying the same things about Reagan. After all, he had prior marriages, was a former Democrat, actually signed the first “Amnesty” bill into Law and increased the Federal Deficit by a considerable margin.

NOBODY could possibly appease these people. They are a radical, pessimistic fringe who will never find a positive attitude about much of anything, that does exactly not meet their definition of a perfect World. Reagan himself, defined them in much the same way I just did.

Really? A “considerable margin”? Reagan’s deficits, even adjusted to today, are nothing compared to W and Obama. His last three years in office had annual deficits around $150 billion.

Take out the necessary rebuilding of the military and his spending was comparable to even the Clinton/Newt budgets of the late 90’s when REAL discretionary spending actually slowed way down.
