Newt Gingrich today hit out at Barack Obama's intervention in the case of the fatal shooting of an unarmed black teenager, calling the President's comments 'disgraceful' and racially divisive. Mr Obama heightened the national outcry over Trayvon Martin's death when he called for a thorough investigation into the case and expressed sympathy with the boy's parents.
Martin's killing by neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman in Orlando has sparked nationwide calls - led by civil rights leader Al Sharpton - for Zimmerman to be arrested. But GOP presidential candidate Mr Gingrich said Mr Obama's remarks were 'dividing the country up', and insisted: 'It’s not a question of who that young man looked like.' The President said today: 'I can only imagine what these parents are going through. When I think about this boy, I think about my own kids.'
Speaking on Sean Hannity's radio show, Mr Gingrich said: 'What the president said, in a sense, is disgraceful. 'Is the president suggesting that if it had been a white who had been shot, that would be OK because it didn’t look like him? That’s just nonsense dividing this country up. 'When things go wrong to an American, it is sad for all Americans. Trying to turn it into a racial issue is fundamentally wrong. I really find it appalling.'

I also think that we should NOT be having this liberal angst session over how racists are killing our black youth and all of that.
The biggest danger to black youth in this country is not racists with guns. The biggest danger to black youth is other black men with guns.
And, why are the liberals rushing to judgement? I thought we’re not supposed to have a rush to judgement.
Among other things, there are reports that a witness saw Martin on top of Zimmerman, both on the ground, with Martin beating up on Zimmerman. Let’s wait for all the details to come out before we decide about this case.
Also, this shooting happened a month ago. It’s only come to prominence in recent days, because the liberals decided to make this a cause celebre.
A six year old little girl in Chicago was killed the other day, in a drive by shooting. She looked like Obama’s daughters. She would have reminded Obama of his own daughters. Yet that story is not mentioned by the president.
This is a case of # 1, a rush to judgement by liberals, and # 2 a case of selective outrage by liberals.
Based upon Obama’s absurd comment, if i didn’t know better, I’d say the guy has a drinking problem. His comment is precisely the kind of things we drunks would say to each other at the bar back in my drinking days:
Drunk One (all blubbery and teary-eyed): I’m telling you, the kid looked just like my son. I swear it.
Drunk Two (quizzically): yeah, but you don’t even have a son.
Drunk One: (staggering back a bit): Yeah, but if I did, that’s esactly what he would look like (boo-hoo, boo-hoo, boo-hoo).

ORLANDO - A witness we haven’t heard from before paints a much different picture than we’ve seen so far of what happened the night 17-year-old Trayvon Martin was shot and killed.
The night of that shooting, police say there was a witness who saw it all.
Our sister station, FOX 35 in Orlando, has spoken to that witness.
What Sanford Police investigators have in the folder, they put together on the killing of Trayvon Martin few know about.
The file now sits in the hands of the state attorney. Now that file is just weeks away from being opened to a grand jury.
It shows more now about why police believed that night that George Zimmerman shouldn’t have gone to jail.
It’s funny ‘cause it’s true.
In 2008 Obama got 98% of the black vote.
Now that he has joined racist Al Sharpton to help incite more black hate and resentment I woudn’t be surprised to see him get at least 120% to 125% of the black vote this coming November.
But just remember it’s the brainless whites in this country that got him elected.

Please, someone, show me where Obama’s moral outrage was when that nine year old girl was killed in Tucson and he turned her memorial service into a campaign rally.

Well, from now on, whenever a black is accused of black on white crime, I’m sure it will be a boy that could have been obama’s son that did it, right?

Why are there no remarks by obama when a white person gets beaten to death by a gang of black men, or when black smash mobs go rioting and looting? The answer is simple to racist obama and company.

When they kill whitey it is justified because of slavery. When a white person fights back it’s murder. The race baiters in this country, Jackson, Sharpton, work overtime to keep the hatred flowing because that’s how they earn their money. . They are trying desperately to turn this into THEIR Rosa Parks moment. Two reverends that have lost more souls than I care to contemplate.
Itis no longer a case against Zimmerman. They are judging all white people and have found us all guilty. If we think this is bad, wait until we try to depose obama. This is a cakewalk.
The nominees need to stick to attacking obama. They should remain silent on what they don’t know and leave the job to those who do.
And by the time the secret proceedings of a grand jury will be finished, the propaganda value of Trayvon Martin will have been depleted and the DNC Pukes of the Press will have moved on to the next Marxist cause célèbre.
