As advertisers keep joining in on the Rush Limbaugh boycott, one company only lasted a week before it went back to the conservative talk show host with its tail between its legs. But Limbaugh is not ready to forgive and forget.
The Los Angeles Times reports that Sleep Train, which had advertised with Limbaugh for 25 years, asked to relaunch a "voiced endorsement" on Limbaugh's show on Thursday ... and they were turned down.
The funny thing is, Sleep Train was the first advertiser to pull its ads from Limbaugh's show. After receiving a slew of angry messages for advertising on Limbaugh's show after he called a Georgetown law student a "prostitute" for advocating for inclusion of birth control in insurance plans, the mattress company Tweeted:
We don't condone negative comments directed toward any group. In response, we are currently pulling our ads from Rush with Rush Limbaugh.

Is GEICO on the dropped list? I have three policies and will have to make a change to State Farm or one who does advertise on Rush, if so.
I disagree completely. Rush has hundreds of advertisers who did not “bail” on him. And as he has allowed those advertisers who did bail to twist in the wind, he sends a message to the mass of advertisers who remain:
“My show is controversial. You understood it when you contracted to advertise on my show, so if you bail out because of a controversy be prepared to never come back.”
There are hundreds of businesses who currently contract with Limbaugh who are breathing a sigh of relief that they kept cooler heads and used better judgment.
If Rush buckles now the message will be the you can leave or come back whenever a stressful moment hits. That’s not “smart” business for Limbaugh.
He’s handling this situation perfectly.
LOL
Hmmm. I think that's supposed to work both ways. Sleep Train should have given a bit more thought to that before they reacted in such a knee-jerk fashion to the liberal 'outrage'. Had they waited just a few days, they could have had plenty of cover to continue on Rush's show, with the information that came to light about the TRUE misogyny on the liberal side, not the ginned up accusations of the libs against Rush.
I especially enjoy firing these advertisers on-line, when they ask “why” you no longer want to do business with them.
“You boycott Rush, I boycott you!”
With hundreds of thousands of Rush fans lined up to boycott Sleep Train and other moronic sponsors that pulled their ads in a knee-jerk reaction to the perpetually offended...
how could he do otherwise? It would have been a slap in the face to all of his loyal fans and supporters that signed petitions and went ON RECORD against Sleep Train and others that bowed to leftist pressure.
Rush did the right thing. He doesn’t need their business if they are that fickle.
Personnally, I believe you are incorrect in your opinions, but you are certainly entitled to them, Newbie.
Totally outrageous lie from a driveby!!!!
As outrageous as this:
Sept 1st, 1939: Austrian Landscape Painter stops Poles from killing Innocent Germans by the Border...
Get the story on Snapple right. They were bought out by Quaker Oats and they were the ones who originally pulled the advertising. They lost over a $1 Billion on the deal and then sold it to someone else who did, for a time, go back to advertising on Rush’s show.
Oh gads....did I just feed a “newbie” troll?
Sorry. I didn’t even bother to check first....lol.
Assuming that one of the “top 3” accounting firms in the country is still taking new clients your situation really doesn’t apply.
Tell us how your company policies change when your get in the situation where you have clients lining up at your door, with more than you can accomodate, and a few of the morons start bad-mouthing your organizataion in public.
It has had no effect on Rush and the new advertisers were more than happy to move in to fill the vacumn. The dummies who decided to dump his show were reacting to the whine of a few moron liberals, magnified by the MSM and a number of “GOP” idiots as well. Most of the liberal whiners would not and will not now buy their products anyway so they definitely lose in the long run. They burned the bridge to potential customers, not Rush.
Totally agree..................................
Gee, ya think who ever wrote that has never listened?
I’m in Houston.
What station broadcasts your number one show?
Oh wait n00bie, never mind you don’t even have a top million show.
You could simply not be much more wrong about Rush and his listeners.
Just to rub it in I have two cases of his Two if by Tea showing up at my home today. It sure as hell ain’t Snapple!
Nor should he. These people deserted him with great fanfare and lots of publicity. They owe their bottom lines to him and if they are now bleeding profits, they are the only ones responsible.
Rush, the majority of America stands WITH you and we support you. Just keep doing what you do so well!!
Must be your nurturing, maternal instincts! ;-)
Wrong, this was the right decision. If an advertiser is going to play in with the left on a bogus scam they do not deserve to ever be trusted again.
Screw them and the democrat train they rode in on.
