America on Verge of Economic Collapse Because of Obama's Cooked Reports
News Blaze ^ | 2/18/12 | Chuck Ness

Posted on 02/18/2012 11:56:59 PM PST by OneVike

The Obama administration has released an economic report that claims everything is coming up roses, and it is making the rounds of the MSM's news outlets. Truth is, when you look into the numbers, it's rather easy to come to the conclusion that the economic reports are as screwy as the administration's employment numbers. In order to convince Americans that his economic measures are working, Obama is claiming there has been an increase in retail sales from December to January by a seasonally adjusted .4%. The administration goes on to explain that while the economy is moving in a positive direction, it is still slow. They also point out that the recently reported gains reduced unemployment to 8.3%, proving that Socialist economic policies are working. However, Obama's unemployment numbers have since been proven to be lies. Have I stated that we are in an election year and that Obama needs to get re-elected in order to continue transforming the greatest country in the history of mankind into a Soviet style basket case? To assist in the destruction, the MSM has been knowingly repeating this administration's lies.

Instead of reporting how America's real unemployment is actually up between 19 and 25%, they report that Obama has been able to get unemployment down to 8.3%. Instead of reporting that the government is spending more money than it is taking in, and that retail sales have dropped by almost $100 billion from December to January, we are told by the administration's propaganda machine that retail sales have increased by .4%. In an election year, the MSM will do everything in their power to convince Americans that Obama is even greater than Ronald Reagan.

Monthly U.S. Total Gasoline Retail Deliveries By Refiners.
Note: the two low points are for October and November 2011, the most recent data.
Graphic: U.S. Energy Information Administration

By looking at the usage of gasoline by us citizens, you will notice that it really does back up my point that Americans are not going anywhere to buy anything. The refineries are not delivering gas to your local service station because neither you nor your neighbor are buying gas. We are staying home because our stagnant income does not allow us to put extra gas in our cars, let alone drive around to purchase things we cannot afford. Again, please notice the last two data points on the graph above. They point to a historic low amount of gas being used by Americans, which has a direct effect on the overall retail sales. Which in turn will affect the employment of Americans. So unless Americans begin buying more gas to go to the store, be prepared for the administration to offer up more bogus unemployment numbers like the ones I wrote about last week which Obama and the MSM do not want you to know exist.

This has been posted before, but the information is of utmost importance for fighting the lies of this administration. Especially the attacks by the left that are trying to dispute the facts of in this article. Something I investigated and have been able to debunk their argument and actually give more credence to my analysis.

The argument the left is using to attack it is that less gasoline consumption is due to better fuel efficient vehicles that are getting 35 to 50 MPG. At least that has been the argument given by some leftist I have been debating on the merits of the article. In my search for more support of my claim, I remembered the report that showed how the average age of US cars on the road today are actually a record 10.8 years old. So Americans are not driving autos that get better fuel efficiency, instead they are driving vehicles that get much less MPG.

That's right, instead of better fuel efficient cars, Americans are still driving vehicles that were purchased at a time when SUVs and light trucks were the hottest selling vehicles. So when you look at the chart of gasoline deliveries from refineries to gas stations, the fact that most Americans are driving 10 year old or older vehicles that get much lower MPG supports the hypothesis of the article even more.

If anything, we should be using more gasoline because of lower fuel efficient vehicles, but we are still not purchasing gas, and that makes the whole idea of a recovering economy even more laughable, because we are driving much, much less. Looking towards this summer, get ready for summer tourism sites to get hit hard with historically low numbers of visitors. I can see most Americans staying close to home and driving no farther than their local park for a picnic. However, I would not look forward to hearing this administration, nor its propaganda machine, the MSM, to report the truth.

“I can see most Americans staying close to home...”
I’ve stayed so close to home that upon venturing out tonight to visit a relative in the hospital downtown, I was thoroughly amazed at all the empty storefronts, for sale signs and out of business notices on the way. It was a fr*cking ghost town in many places. Very scary. True to life under Bath-House Barry.

I don’t buy the MSM bullcrap...those lucky enough to be driving to a job see these same things on the way to a job they could lose in nanoseconds. Barry’s on his way out in November.

You know, maybe we should start a thread where FReepers can post photos of businesses that were open a few years ago, then another newer photo of the same building with the closed sign or empty building to show America under Obama.

Imagine the thread of evidence, we could maybe even get them put together in a youtube video for Republicans to use across America in campaign adds that ask the question if you are better off after four years of Obama, and can you imagine how many more closed businesses there will be in four more years if he is re-elected?

On Friday, I drove to the area where I used to live, and will again soon due to being unemployed for over a year. I had an eye doctor appointment. Afterwords I decided since I had not had lunch, I’d go have a turkeryburgher at the only place where I actually like them. I got there to find a sign on the door saying they were closed due to sluggish sales and increasing costs of doing business. That place was there when we first moved to the area, in 1989, and had been there for a long time before that.

Now it’s gone. Thanks Barry.. NOT!

Would you happen to have a photo of the place before it closed to post it on a thread next to a photo of the door with the sign you read about it going out of business?

I am serious about Freepers posting proof of a before and after in their own community of Obama’s America compared to America before Obama.

I like this idea...it should be accompanied by photos of Obamavilles—people living in their cars and cardboard boxes.

A picture is worth a thousand words, especially to those who voted for Bath-House Barry to begin with. I don’t think they read anything...they need illustrations.

We have a preponderance of shuttered up businesses and retail space in Buffalo - a town certainly used to this kind of thing - but we have even more than usual. What town are you from? (I hope you don’t say Buffalo.)

You know, I think if we can coordinate this right, we can get the best result of freepers offering their evidence in their own towns if we post a thread with the request on Monday Morning, or maybe Tuesday because of the Holiday.

I am sure we can get Jim to OK an multiple posting or at least a post to Front Page and breaking news if he likes the idea also.

We are 300,000 members strong. Imagine the powerful tool we can put together of videos and photos in a way that help us all help our local politicians to fight the commie basta*#s this election year.

Great campaigns start with simple ideas, and this could be a great winner in more way than one.

Any other ideas, and do you all agree?

Lots of videos of it - here’s one of a brand new HUGE office building in Florida, most of it has never been occupied. Same here in Western Washington. Sad.

It should be clear to all that the world’s economy is on life support and the doctors are all ‘quacks’ and crooks! Face it to a certain degree we are all Greeks now!

What kind of a mess you ask, well I think that we are in for something like the collapse of Argentina ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7yerKMQc7-w&feature=grec_index )but on a global scale.

But the market is up you say, yeah it’s up using billions in ‘printed’ money in the hands of corrupted bankers, investors and their cronies. The world is now flooded with fake and faux money. The game is so rigged and now even the ‘house’ is starting to lose.

When the whole thing tanks as it will what do you think the entiled class will do when they can’t get their cell phones, their food stamps and EBT cards, rent vouchers and so forth.

What we will see is a much more violent version of Argentina, (checkout what is going on in Greece).

American has an even a larger entitlement minded population and much more violent and armed onen than Argentina or Greece.

I see many many small business wiped out by flash mob looting, and see rape, robbery and murder for murder sake. Many of these ‘yutes’ will think no more about killing you than most people think about stepping on a roach. That will be the test of many. Most preppers I know are Christian people and they will hesitate to do what they might have to do to stop the ‘yutes’. On the other hand the ‘yutes’ won’t think twice nor lose a minute of sleep, in fact they will smile and laugh about it.

Think of this quote which is one of my favorites:

“Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: The Siege of AR-558 (#7.8)” (1998)
Quark: Let me tell you something about Hew-mons, Nephew. They’re a wonderful, friendly people, as long as their bellies are full and their holosuites are working. But take away their creature comforts, deprive them of food, sleep, sonic showers, put their lives in jeopardy over an extended period of time and those same friendly, intelligent, wonderful people... will become as nasty and as violent as the most bloodthirsty Klingon. You don’t believe me? Look at those faces. Look in their eyes.

On top of all who knows how many saboteurs (Islamic, Chinese etc) and sleepers have crossed our borders and are now just waiting to cause havoc.

For those who are just starting or are old hands at prepping you may find my Preparedness Manual helpfull. You can download it at:

http://tomeaker.com/kart/Preparedness1j.pdf

NOTE! THIS IS A FREE DOWNLOAD. I DO NOT MAKE ONE CENT OFF MY PREPAREDNESS MANUAL!

For those of you who haven’t started already it’s time to prepare almost past time maybe. You needed to be stocking up on food guns, ammo, basic household supplies like soap, papergoods, cleaning supplies, good sturdy clothes including extra socks, underwear and extra shoes and boots, a extra couple changes of oil and filters for your car, tools, things you buy everyday start buying two and put one up.

As the LDS say “When the emergency is upon us the time for preparedness has past.”

Or as the bible says: A prudent man sees danger and takes refuge, but the simple keep going and suffer for it.
NIV Proverbs 22:3

Lastly this for the doubters and the scoffers.

“There is no greater disaster than to underestimate danger.

Underestimation can be fatal.”

“We have a preponderance of shuttered up businesses and retail space in Buffalo - a town certainly used to this kind of thing - but we have even more than usual.”

Northern NJ is in a slow death spiral, too; businesses and the Americans that worked in them are fleeing, leaving illegal aliens and the permanent underclass. Right next to the new Giants Stadium in the Meadowlands is a huge mall (including indoor ski lift) that never even opened. They finished construction a few years back, and none of the businesses have opened.

It’s actually quite eerie.

I agree with you; while the thought of him winning gets me down, I can’t believe it will even be close. He has ruled as one who doesn’t even intend to run for re-election (I’m actually surprised he IS running); I can’t believe he’d even carry Illinois. There is no way the media can deceive enough people if they simply ask themselves: Are you better off than four years ago?

The miserable job market and the unreported inflation (gas prices and groceries being the most obvious symptoms of this) should do him in.
