Santorum thinks contraception itself, not just who is going to pay for it, is a public policy issue.

This is not the language of a small government conservative.

It is apparently not “OK” with Santorum if people take contraception, he thinks it a public policy issue with a profound impact on the health of our society.

Scary.

Rich has never been a small government conservative. He has always been a big government “compassionate” so-call conservative in the GW Bush mold.

He helped bankrupt the country and made Obama possible.

NO way we pick him as our nominee unless we want a permanent Left-wing government in Washington.

He was stating his belief and opinion on the topic with regard to how Christians need to take a hard look at their views of contraception, and he has a valid point about the “deconstruction” of separating the sex act from procreation.
Is there something positive with regard to family structure that has come about as a result of widespread contraception? Are more people establishing stable families because of the pill?

But, I didn’t see anywhere in that transcript where he advocated that the government impose this belief on anyone,
so I don’t see how your observation of “the language of a small government conservative” even applies.
