Just talking to a lock repairman at our house this morning and he said the exact same thing as you did, Charles.

I think you miss the way America was when he was President. I know I sure do, but America was not the way it was BECAUSE of him. It was the way it was from what happened on 9/11. And what Bush did after. He doubled spending, the size and scope of Government and got us into two wars at once, instead of winning the first one, before starting the second.

Add to that, his effort to initiate TARP and the Bailouts of the MEGA Banks, was a fatal error that wound up forcing Obama into office. For that, I can no longer view him as even a moderately fair President.
