I hate when fiction books become reality.

* Marxist US president abandons troops and equipment in them Middle East - Check (OK he thought it would be Hillery but in 2006 who would blame him.)
* Global cooling hits and preparations for Global warming make it worse - Check
* Total wold-wide economic collapse - Check
* Global flu pandemic - Not Yet
* When bad decisions nearly wreck the country Marxist US president tries to steal the election. - Bet on it.

That cover might have been the inspiration for that book and movie (apparently being made? or something) about a US Marine Expeditionary Group going back to the time of the Roman Empure.

It’s been a while since I cracked a Ringo book - Posleen war series was the last that I read. Premis sounds a tad too close to reality but he is always a good read.

Looks like I will have to go pick up another one. Thanks for the tip.
