The global cooling is of course; somehow caused by global (human caused) warming.
Time to shut down some more coal fired power plants to help out.

My utility Bill was exactly 1/2 of what it was last year. :-)
So.....if people heat homes and business by burning fossil fuels.....and Global Warming causes less need for heating..... hmmmmmmm.......
I'm sure that point is lost on the GW cultists, though.
As is the deep freeze in Europe.

It’s been a while since I cracked a Ringo book - Posleen war series was the last that I read. Premis sounds a tad too close to reality but he is always a good read.
Looks like I will have to go pick up another one. Thanks for the tip.

It was brutally hot in Texas last year and my a/c bills were HUGE so doesn’t that kinda off set your lower need for heat?

Yes, it's warming. Yesterday it was only 42 degrees here, and right now it is 61.
I'm getting really scared, I can't take another August in North Texas at this rate. :)
To: Ditter
Nope.
Like the GW cultists, I only pick the data that supports my pet theories. ;-)

Greenhouse gases like methane are keeping the US artificially warm because Zero's fiscal policies has all of us eating beans.

One just can’t argue with that logic!!!

I’ll be darned. Shades of the old days. Cold in Europe. Them tiny little cars they drive are toast.
Meanwhile, Daytona week looks to be possibly a bit wet but warm for the racing. ;-)

is -60F in Moscow really any worse than the -30F that they usually get?

Global Warming is obsolete. It is now referred to as Global Climate Change.
Global Climate Change is much more flexible than Global Cooling or Global Warming.
Is it hotter than usual today? It is because of Global Climate Change.
Is it colder than usual today? It is because of Global Climate Change.
Wetter? Dryer? Windier? Less windy? It doesn’t matter! No matter what the weather happens to be, it is because of Global Climate Change.
It’s all Bush’s fault. Womyn and minorities will be hardest hit.

None of this possibly could be having to do with that big, unchanging ball of fire in the sky.

That video does not show a lot of snow at all in terms of what some of use are used to. The snow around the house they show is either from an exclusive location or an area where there is a lot of drifting. But the rest of the video looks like a typical snow storm in the NE.

I have to wonder why it is that every time there is a cold spell or a hot spell in Europe, hundreds of people die. When we have hot or cold spells in the U.S., there may a couple deaths here or there, but nothing like the death tolls in Europe. Makes me think there is something besides just the temperature causing so many deaths.

That cover might have been the inspiration for that book and movie (apparently being made? or something) about a US Marine Expeditionary Group going back to the time of the Roman Empure.Rome, Sweet Rome
