Drug use, as some say, is a victimless crime .... probably need to inform the victims ... both the users and everyone around them!

I hate it..she sang about love but it didn't save her. In the end, her gift was G-ds to give.

I honor the passing of a great singer and grieve the loss of a troubled soul.

Whitney Houston’s premature death is a tragedy, but no one should be surprised. The only thing that surprises me is that she managed to live this long. It’s a shame, given her great talent. What did she see in Bobby Brown in the first place?

Too bad. One of the best pop voices of all time. Just an incredibly powerful and pure voice. Don’t know much about her, but I always suspected she was a decent person, in spite of her drug issues.

Lindsey Lohan, on the other hand, is a punk.

Heard this on the radio while driving home.

What a tragic ending to a tragically-led life once Bobby Brown entered it.

Prayers to her family. I’m sure they’re beyond heartbroken....all these years hoping and praying that she’d turn around.

Very sad.

I’ll never forget the first time I heard her voice when I was a child. There has never been anyone close to making me feel the way she did when she sang. RIP Whitney.

I usually don't react to reports of star deaths (sad to say) but this time, I'm pretty sad about it. She was so beautiful and God gifted her with enormous talent. Her mother Cissy raised her a good Christian and did everything she could to shield her from the evils she knew existed in the entertainment business. Then came Bobby Brown and everything Cissy worried about came to fruition.

May Whitney rest in peace and may her daughter not follow in the path of her parents.

Whitney was a good example of what drugs and poor choices in life can do. She was such a lovely young woman who turned into a sad wreck. May she rest in peace.

This is so sad.

This is what drugs do to a person. It burns you up, it shortens your life. It takes your life.

My prayers are with her and her family.

God has a angel with him tonight whose Hosannas will lift heaven itself.

God bless you Whitney.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2099347/Whitney-Houston-emerges-nightclub-looking-worse-wear.html?ito=feeds-newsxml

The 48-year-old was spotted looking worse for wear last night in Hollywood, California after enjoying a party with friends.

Dressed all in black, the How Will I Know singer appeared angry and agitated as she left the venue and looked like she had partied a little hard.

Wearing a short black dress the star emerged with her hair messed up and gestured aggressively to the waiting photographers.

Whitney had what is believed to be blood dripping down her leg and scratches on her wrist and she had to be escorted from the club to her car by a few people.

According to recent reports the highly decorated Houston has squandered her fortune and is on the brink of bankruptcy as well as facing mortgage foreclosure.

The Morris County Sheriff’s Office recently authorized the mortgage foreclosure sale of her 10-acre New Jersey mansion for over $1million in overdue mortgage payments and taxes.

Houston, who has overcome crack cocaine addiction, has allegedly spent all of her fortune, including a reported $100million record deal.

‘Whitney’s fortune is gone. Music industry heavy hitters are supporting her and her label is fronting her cash against her next album, but no one knows when that will be released’ a source told Radaronline.com.

‘She might be homeless if not for people saving her. She is broke as a joke.’

The source added: ‘She called someone to ask for $100. It is so sad. She should have Mariah Carey money, and she’s flat broke.’

Bless her drug addled, troubled heart, you could see this coming but I thought she’d do herself in unintentionally.

That woman could sing, though. Too bad the pernicious Big Entretsinment drug culture destroyed her.

A real shame. Even though her music was not the type of music I listened to. I remember back in the 1980’s, she was really a good looking lady and pretty well innocent. Bobby Brown changed that and really ruined her !

We don’t know yet if it was drug related but she ruined herself over drugs.

I think this is such a shame on so many levels after years of loving her voice. And that National Anthem at the start of the Gulf War at the Super Bowl (1991?)ranks the best ever sang by anyone.

She had it all and threw it all away. Listening to her trying to sing after her comeback last year was just painful. She threw it all away for drugs.
