A now-retired Catholic principal from Mississauga is facing a complaint to the Ontario College of Teachers after she denied students’ requests for a gay-straight alliance last year.
Former Ottawa teacher Thomas McCue, who now lives with his male partner in Montreal, alleges Frances Jacques, the former principal of St. Joseph Catholic High School, committed professional misconduct when she refused to allow Leanne Iskander and other teens to form the controversial club, according to the Toronto Star.
The Dufferin-Peel Catholic School Board said at the time that Jacques had offered Iskander’s group numerous options that were in line with the Catholic faith, but she refused.
They noted in particular that Jacques had suggested Iskander connect with the Courage apostolate, a Catholic organization supported by the Archdiocese of Toronto that offers a spiritual support system to men and women struggling with same-sex attractions. She also advised Iskander that students experiencing same-sex attractions could have discussions with the school’s chaplain and social worker or connect with existing equity groups at the school.
With the aid of groups such as Egale, Xtra, and Queer Ontario, Iskander formed her own lobby group ‘Catholic Students for GSAs’. She was given Pride Toronto’s ‘LGBTQ Youth of the Year ‘ award and named a “grand marshal” for the 2011 Gay Pride parade.

Catholic schools should be allowed to refuse Homosexual groups in their schools for religious reasons.
Another anti-Christian assault by queers who are destroying morality and religion with their perverse idea that sex is a mutual masturbation excercise.
Catholic orphanages are closing, Catholic hospitals may have to close, Now they want to force Catholic schools to teach perversion.
This for 1% of the population?? I aint buying it.
Its’s an attack against Catholics using queers as weapons.
No tolerance for religious freedom. Evil people are trying to force Catholics to rewrite the Bible or acknowledge “Evil is good”. Tolerance—as a judge says—goes two ways-—and there is none for True Christianity.
There is a culture war-—Satan v. God. It is true.
This is a Catholic school and homosexuality is considered a sin. The gay people never stop trying to force the rest of us to accept their lifestyle. They feel they have the right to force the rest of the world to accept behavior that simply is not moral or healthy.

Folks, if you do anything against the homosexual agenda, your going to get a headline that contains these phrases.
Let it roll off your back. Here is how I would re-write the headline:
“Homosexual activists continue to whine that others don’t conform to their lifestyle”
If there is a loss of employment, then that is a whole different issue.
They never stop trying to force their lifestyle on CHILDREN
That is because Sodomites can not reproduce and hence go after children because they need fresh “meat” for their sexual perversion... Corrupt their minds and hearts, pervert their bodies with lust, use em up, give em AIDS and move on to the next one.
Yeah but, it is a very wealthy 1%.... now where did I hear that before?
