A failure?

"Somehow we have to figure
out how to boost the price of
gasoline to the [$8-$10/gal]
levels in Europe." - Barrack Obama's
Energy Secretary Steve Chu. Had enough yet???

Very strange, and I am told that Gasoline(fuel) and food do not count toward the inflation index.
That too is strange since they are the principal items we must have to survive, and get to work.

My electric bill has gone up and Mr. Obama brags that it will go up more, my heating fuel has gone up, my County and State taxes have gone up, My automobile registration has gone up,my part of the National debt has gone up my temper has gone up.Even the cost of my taking a morning bowel movement has gone up thanks to my Governor here in Md. who now charges me a Flush fee to use my own septic tank.

I cannot say that I am very fond of Democrats and their economics.

Seriously...the price of bacon is outrageous. Paid $12.99 for a 1.5 lb package of a local brand (Fletchers). Yes it was good..yes there are less expensive brands...but yes, it’s by hubby’s favorite. But wow! It’s now a treat he’s not going to get all that often. :::grumble::::

Obamarisk risk and instability injected into the economy. Beautiful thing ~ where all pay, including those hit hardest, those at the bottom of our society. Its interesting to note that the prices and activity has gone global .... showing that America is still the leading force contrary to what the eraser in the White House wants to say.

It pisses me that coffee has just about doubled , beans too.

Prediction:

Soon the proposition will be put forth that the price of a commodity or service will vary depending on the relative wealth and/or incomes of the transacting parties.

I wonder how many people would accept a sudden 2,160% increase in the tax on gasoline or beer?

Lots of people in know simply switched to loose pipe tobacco because it didn’t catch the same increase. Its a bit coarser cut but they tell me its fine for cigarettes.

I guess we only have to burn bacon to run our cars. That will solve most of the problem.

MMM, fresh eggs w/ bacon...you’re making me very hungry. Neighbor down the street sells fresh eggs. We splurge about once a month on fresh eggs and that’s when I was buying the pricey bacon. The hubby is going to have to learn to like another brand of bacon.

And we need to get us someone in the WH who has some sort of understanding of what the real world is like for those of us who are not the ‘elite’ Washington DC insiders. Bet none of them worry about how much gas costs or bacon or anything. (Well they probably do worry about their bar tabs...but that’s just me being a witch).

My congressman is downright destitute compared to most. his 6 figure earnings don’t come anywhere near the mega millions of someone like Nancy Pelosi.
