Now, if Gingrich and Santorum could make a POTUS/VP partnership, we can sail past the liberal RINO.

I could vote for that.

“Still plenty of time for his wife to tell him different. Just like before.”

I have no comment to your comment. I just wanted people to see your comment again. Take it for what it’s worth. I may even post it again so everyone can see the mentality.

Agreed. I may not have always agreed with CW, especially at the very beginning, but as time went on I grew to seriously respect her. Perry was blessed to have someone like you CW, and when he runs next (and he will) the same will hold. God bless you CW. Same goes for Shield.

Ha, the Conservative AND Rebuplican party is officially dead.

We now will have the choice of a left of center RINO, Romney.... Or an amoral slug of a man who has no political philosophy, Newt!

Reality TV now has more substance than we do.

I thought Perry could have been good for the country but I'm more in favor of Rick Santorum.
Perry an outsider, well how quickly they learn, dropping out at this time? I'm not sure if it's a good thing or not,I do know throwing his support for Newt is not a good thing. Gingrich is probably the most BLACKMAILABLE person there is, not good for the country.
Gingrich takes credit for balancing a budget, so does Clinton but the facts are Now Gov. of Ohio John Kaisic is responsible for balancing the budget.
Where was Gingrich when they could.t find the missiles or launchers for the missiles, were was Gingrich when we had no missile defense. It wasn't until Gingrich was forced out of office and rightfully so that his anger got the best of him and than he was willing to expose the Clinton administration and the DemoRATS for STIPPING away at the security for this country. He could have and should have exposed the RATS but couldn't’ because he also was as corrupt as the RATS were, Polosi won't hesitate to use information against Newt.
Look at how he treated to other women in his life, do you think he treated the American people any different.
What is Gingrich's few on tradition marriage? How much of an influence is Gingrich's Sister for Lesbian rights and entitlements. The came at VP Dick Chaney about his daughter, a low blow but Newt needs to be asked a few questions on this subject as well as the subject of the security of this country, will blackmail hold him back from once again from keeping this country safe.
As far Perry goes how quickly the become an insider, throwing his support for Newt Gingrich is a LOW BLOW to America. I'm glad he is out, one less corrupted politician in the race.
I guess Sarah Palin has become one of insiders as well, if she was a Carolinian she would for for Gingrich, she is as phony as the RATS that control our White House and Senate.
I HOPE THE PEOPLE OF S CAROLINA CAN SEE THRU ALL THIS.
Gingrich needs to go back under that dirty rock that he crawled out from under, the same rock the Clinton crawled out from.

LOL: a loser endorses a loser. Look, Newt’s finished.

Morally, to ask your wife to approve an ongoing affair with another woman is wrong.

It’s also really, really stupid. Henry Hyde used to say Newt was 1/2 genius and 1/2 crackpot. Henry Was Right.

It’s down to Santorum and Mittens.

We’ve known for a long time that Newt had baggage. I wanted to believe the best about him, that the hospital-bed divorce request story was bogus, as it appears to have been. I wanted to belive the best. But the open marriage thing simply is not acceptable. And it’s recent, not decades ago.

Entering into the affair with Callista was wrong. And stupid. Thinking you can run for president having done that and done it brazenly was stupid. Newt has wasted our time and crippled the stop-Romney movement.

He and his ego have a lot to answer for.

For better or worse, Perry had to go. He is a human gaffe machine on the order of Biden, but he will never get the free pass on it from the media like Plugs gets. I don’t underestimate the importance of the Presidential debates and the value of having a good debater nominated as President. McCain lost the presidency in the first five minutes of the first debate. Newt would not do the same, he could win the presidency in five minutes. Romney would do better than Perry against 0bama (but I’d hate to see it come to that).

Perry would have been a face-palm candidate.

Look at their accomplishments. Newt allied himself with Ronald Reagan to build the Reagan Coalition, the Religious Right, and the Republican majority (together the Reagan Revolution) which directly led the downfall of the Soviet Union, the Contract with America, government reforms, less government, tax cuts, a balanced budget, and the great, long-standing Reagan economy.

Romney, on the other hand, vehemently denied Ronald Reagan and aligned himself with Ted Kennedy and the left. Romney accomplished installing liberal big government programs, defended and promoted Roe v Wade and legalized abortion as “settled law,” advocated and implemented RomneyCare with its liberty killing government mandates against formerly free citizens and its taxpayer funded or subsidized and mandated abortion procedures. He ran and governed to the left of Ted Kennedy on the “gay agenda” resulting in gay marriage in Massachusetts. He appointed liberal judges and liberal appointees throughout his government. Under his “leadership” conservatism and the Republican party was all but destroyed in Massachusetts.

Romney is one evil liberal progressive. No way in hell will MittBots be allowed to support this abortionist, big government, socialist scumbag on FR!

Guess my message isn’t clear enough. I have to keep repeating it and zotting would be MittBots.

Back in 1995, after the takeover of the House, I remember some congressman from Wisconsin beating the drums for the Log Cabin Republicans and how Pubblies needed to embrace “conservative gays.” I remember distinctly how Newt chose to publicly endorse the guy.

I remember telling my friends, for all the good Newt has done, if he cannot see how the gay movement is a daggar aimed at the heart of himself and his party, then he’s not trustworthy as a leader of conservatives. He’ll go for what he thinks will gain power rather than for principles.

I was not surprised, then, when Newt endorsed Scozzyfavie in New York. I had already seen that he was insufficiently principled and too susceptible to “pragmatism” (which in the long run often ends up being very unpractical—in the long run, principles actually win).

Already in 1995 I told friends that the gay issue would morph into persecution of Christians who refused to bend on gay marriage, that the beliefs of those Christians would be criminalized, and that Gingrich did not “get it” about the sexuality issues. My friends laughed. Persecution of Christians in America? Never will happen.

Well, it’s here. And Newt still doesn’t get it.

I admire the 1/2 genius side of Newt. He’s done a lot of good.

But if conservatives can’t see how he is simply not suitable to carry the flag in a national election, how his baggage destroys him, then we are in for a helluva ride.

I’m afraid Santorum is the only not-Romney left. Whatever weaknesses he has, those who are admanantly not-Romney need to think hard about destroying Santorum in favor of Newt. Because they’ll end up with Mittens.

If your house is on fire, will you sit in moral judgment of the men who come to put the fire out, or will you welcome them?

The Country is in trouble. We all fall short of the Glory of God.

Cut out the “St. Peter at the Gate” routine.

Unfortunately, the way we choose a president now is more like the Westminister Kennel Club Dog Show. A candidate's merits are based on the number of gaffes that are aired on David Letterman or the front page of the Drudge Report. We as an electorate are told that a candidate can't win because “he doesn't have fire in his belly” or “can't defeat Obamao in a debate”. It doesn't really matter what their views are but how much gravitas they have in front of a teleprompter. In the end, we get what we deserve - a robot named Romney who the left will destroy because he only pays 15% of his income in federal taxes because of long term capital gain tax rates. I want a do-over with new candidates.

Rick Perry is a good man to do this for the conservative movement. The GOP wing of the Dem party is not happy which makes me happy. This might put Newt over the top in SC.

If Santorum comes in low in SC, he should get out and endorse Newt, too.

Yeah, we should ignore the global warming believing, big government loving amoral pussy hound behavior. Because we all know once he is in office he will change.

In the end, I think the country is weary of Klinton's, Bushes, and governors from Texas for the time being and want to see a change. Any conservative will carry the South and to me, a better candidate would be someone from a swing state like Pennsylvania or Ohio.

My support for Romney or Santorum have gone up no by a few notches but by a landslide,
Newt is as corrupt as his bed fellows the Rats that know him well and will use his records that are sealed to once again keep America in the dark as they continue to bring down this country. GINGRICH HAD HIS CHANCE AS SPEAKER AND TURN HIS BACK ON THIS COUNTRY AND THE AMERICAN PEOPLE,IT WASN'T UNTILL HE WAS FORCED OUT OF OFFICE THAT HE GAVE A SPEACH TELLING OF THE DANGERS THAT THIS COUNTRY WAS IN. HIS SILENCE WAS AN ACT OF TREASON JUST LIKE THE RATS THAT WERE SELLING US OUT.
WHAT ABOUT A NAVAL BASS IN CALIFORNIA THAT WAS CLOSED DOWN SO IT COULD BE LEASED OUT TO CHINA. IT TOOK AN INTERET SIT WORLDNET DAILY TO BRING THIS ATTANTION TO CONGRESS AND PUT A STOP TO IT. CHINA COULD HAVE BLOWN UP THIS COUNTRY, NOT WITH LONG RANGE MISSILES BUT FROM RIGHT HERE ON OUR ON SOIL.
THANK GOD FOR PREDIDENT GEORGE BUSH, THE FIRST THING HE DID WAS PUT IN A MISSILE DEFENSE.
THANKS TO HITLATY AND OBOZO RUSSIA NOW USES IRAN FOR THEIR DIRTY WORK IN THREATENING THE US, RUSSIA ALSO IN CONTROL OF THE SPACE STATION. GINGRICH WAS THERE DURING THE CLINTON YEARS AND NEW WHAT WAS GOING ON, WHAT THE CLINTONS COULD'T DO AS THE FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT, THEY GOT OBOZO AHD HITLARY TO FINISH THE JOB, WHY DOESN'T GINGRICH SPEAK OUT ABOUT THAT OR WOULD IT TARNISH I RECORD AS SPEAKER.
A VOTE FOR GINGRICH IS A VOTE FOR A STAB IN THE BACK.
THANKS TO THE NEW WASHINGTON INSIDER PERRY FOR HIS SUPPORT FOR A STAB IN THE BACK,
MY RESPECT FOR LAURA INGRAN IS GONE, CALLING FOR PERRY TO THROW HIS SUPPORT FOR GINGRICH, IS CALLING FOR MORE AND MORE CORUPTION IN WASHINGTON, STAB US IN THE BACK LAURA, WHY NOT, YOUR RICH A FAMOUSE, GOT A PLACE TO HIDE WHILE GINGRICH TURNS HIS BACK AND ALLOWS AMERICANS TO DIE. NEWT GINGRICH WILL NEVER STAND UP AGAINST HIS BLACKMAILERS, LOOK AT HIS RECORD.
